Rachel’s Character:• Light Blue long-sleeved top• Blue denim ripped jeans• White trainers• Hair tied up in a casual ponytail

The light colour of this costume was chosen because it helped for her character to stand out on camera as she was often seen either in front of a black background, or in a neutral coloured living area. Her costume is also very casual as she was abducted in a natural setting so this costume helped to show that the kidnap happened on an ordinary day in her life. We chose to have her hair in a ponytail as it kept her hair off of her face so that the audience could really identify with who she was.

Daniel’s Character• Red Jumper• Denim Jeans• Neutral coloured shoes

Wearing a bright coloured jumper helped Daniel’s character stand out against a neutral background on camera. This costume is also very casual showing the audience that Daniel was going by his everyday life when his sister was kidnapped,

• White Shirt• Black Tie• Denim Jeans• Smart black shoes

This costume is contrasting to his previous costume as it shows him as a more formal, representable character. It is part of his job to solve cases such as his sisters kidnap, so a more formal costume is appropriate for him interacting with colleagues to help find his sister

As you can see, we used a variety of props whilst filming our teaser trailer. Some of these were used in mis en scene to make the living room a more believable setting (e.g. photo frames) whilst others were used as characterisation for the kidnapper, reinforcing the danger that he inflicts (e.g. mask, gun)
