    C LASH OF THE T ITANS C HERRYBROOK T ECH A DEPTS

Welcome to Cherrybrook Tech Adepts Clash of the Titans 2013 for players of Warhammer40,000 , Warhammer Fantasy , Blood Bowl, Lordof the Rings and Flames of War : Saturday 16 th &Sunday 17 th February 2013.

Now in its 8 th year, CTA is holding a tournamentfor six separate game systems. We have separate40k and Fantasy divisions: a general entry and a

junior entry sections. We are also offering Blood Bowl , Lord of the Rings , Flames of War and for thefirst time Warmachine / Hordes .

Our aim is to provide every participant in our events as enjoyable an experience as possible. Thisis achieved in part by playing on carefully created

boards and scenery. Another is to make the eventrun as smoothly as possible with few to noorganisational problems. However, I feel the mostimportant factor is that people wish to enjoy

playing a game with their opponent, rather thanhaving every rule exploited to achieve victory atany cost.

As a result, as with all of the events run byCherrybrook Tech Adepts, the hobby is to have itsown component and prizes. Sportsmanship,

painting and army selection are just as, if not moreimportant to our hobby than winning.

We hope that all competitors have an enjoyabletime at our event and will recommend participationto their friends for next year.

If there are any general questions, salutations, complaints etc please direct them to me [email protected] as the Convention Organiser.

    Clash of the Titans

6 th Edition RulesClash of Titans presents.... 3++con!

www.3plusplus.netGENERAL ENTRYPLEASE READ THE FULL PLAYER S PACK AVAILABLE ON THE WEBSITE ABOVE. It will solve many issues you may

have! Welcome back to 3++con presented to you by to Clash of the Titans! A new edition heralds the beginnings of 2013 and3++con is one of the first major tournaments in the Sydney area for such an edition, thus a brief forward on what the tournament isabout and how it will be run.First, and as always, the most important part of any tournament, 3++con is about having fun. 3++con is a competitive environment

but that is not meant to, nor should it, eclipse the enjoyment of attendees and we have strived to design a tournament system whichfulfils that enjoyment for every participa nt. Weve made a few changes to our system from last year based on your feedback so wehope you enjoy it more this time around and would appreciate the feedback for 2013 as well. We are always striving for improvement!Second, with 6 th edition being so new and the changes it has brought, we have gone for a system as close to rulebook scenarios as

possible. We, the organisers, do not feel straight up rulebook missions are the best for tournament play and thus have modifiedthem with what we believe are the SMALLEST CHANGES POSSIBLE whilst working towards a stable tournament environment. We have not looked to change core mechanics of the game. Essentially we added two missions together in a primary/secondaryformat to generate less draws and thus allow a Win/Loss system to be implemented. We have tested these missions as much as

possible and strived to ensure they fit the concepts of 40k as outlined by the 6th edition rulebook. We hope you enjoy thesemissions and that they become a good foundation for games to be played outside the basic rulebook scenarios in the future. We hope everyone has a blast at 3++con this year and hope to see you back again for 2014. And again, PLEASE READ THEPLAYER S PACK. It holds many answers! It is very important to read the pack thoroughly as it explains everything there isto know about 3++con. Any enquires can be sent to the contact e-mail address and will be answered ASAP.Games: six games at 1850 pointsTime Limit: 2 hours 30 minutes per game

SCHEDULE:8:00-8:30am Registration and morning briefing (Day 2 will be used to display your armies for Players Choice)8:30am 11:00am Game 1/411:00am 11:30am Lunch (food can be bought on site)11:30am 2:00pm Game 2/52:15pm 5:00pm Game 3/65:00pm 5:30pm Day 2 pack-up

TOURNAMENT SYSTEM This tournament is based on 64 attendees. Modifications will be made as necessary if there are fewer players. The tournament willessentially be split into two individual days where the first day seeds you for the opportunity to fight for different generalship

prizes on Day 2. Importantly, and this is very different from last year, only the top 24 players will go into specific brackets everyone else will continue playing as per normal in a fo urth bracket where players are matched up based on W/L and battle

point record. Its important to note that even by not being in a bracket Day 2, there are still many prizes one can achieve a nd the

ranking entered into Rankings HQ will be based on your OVERALL performance (outlined in scoring) instead of placement within brackets. The only exception here is the Top 4 players in Bracket 1 will be the Top 4 finishers entered into Rankings HQ.Heres how the games will be organised:

Day 1 a 64 player bracket will be devised based on placing in last years 3++con mediated by placement in Rankings HQ (for those who did not attend last year). This is ONLY for Day 1 and really just for TOs sanity as it allows us to know who match es upwith whom and not double up on tables for Day 1 very easily.

Day 2 the top 24 players will be organised into three brackets of eight (Top Bracket = eight 3-0 players; 2nd Bracket = best eight2-1 players; 3rd Bracket = next best eight 2-1 players) with everyone else combined into the 4th bracket which utilises a moretraditional tournament format where players with the same W/L record match up against each other based upon Victory Points.

BRACKET FORMAT Knock-out format akin to what is seen in major sporting tournaments like the NCAA or Tennis Reverse losing bracket to make sure everyone gets six games in and can still improve their OVERALL ranking and the

    potential for prizes

    3/19

Seeding is based upon your W/L record and Victory Points acquired Day 1; not everyone will be seeded into one of the brackets

Winning players within the bracket will move on to play other winning players until there is one player who is undefeatedwithin the bracket left

The reverse track does this for losing individuals as well which allows each individual to be sorted from 1 st through to 8 th within their bracket

TOURNAMENT RULES There will be six games over the weekend, three on Saturday and Sunday each. The first three games are seeding games with t he

players divided up into three ranked brackets of eight players and one general pool for the final three games on Sunday (explained below). Each game is based upon a win/loss format (there are no draws!) And you will only play against individuals with the sameW-L. The missions will explain this more.

POINT LIMIT & ARMY LISTSEach game will be played with 1850 points from a legal 6 th edition codex using ONE Force Organisation Chart. You may NOT goover this limit but are at perfect liberty to take less. Imperial Armour is NOT allowed nor are any fan made units, armies, etc.White Dwarf approved units such as the Night Spinner and new Sisters of Battle codex are allowed. Fortifications, Warlord Traits,Mysterious Objectives and Allies are all allowed and will be used. Mysterious terrain will not be used and terrain shall be placed

by tournament organisers.Army Lists are due two weeks prior to the event (Saturday, February 2 nd) and must include the following. Your name (and online name if you have one), contact number and e-mail address, which army you are using Full wargear purchases and changes (you do not need to list what the units come with standard Full points for each individual unit (please ensure transports and units are listed separately) It is recommended half points of each individual unit are also included to make calculating VP easier Please do not send Army Builder formats with all the extraneous information (such as what the unit is armed with

normally). These will not be accepted Please rigorously check your list before sending it in!

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING Your codex and rulebook measuring devices dice and templates your army

three 40mm objectives (they can be blank bases) a copy of your army list for yourself and each of your

opponents (thats seven total) a good attitude!

FAQS & MODELS Games Workshop FAQs and errata (available online) will be used for 3++con. Additional material covering issues not addressed

by Games Workshop will be released prior to the event. All models must be What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG). Counts-as armies or armies using models not yet supplied byGames Workshop are allowed as long as the model(s) is clearly identifiable and appropriately sized. If you are unsure of this at allI would highly recommend sending pictures of your army to the email address given to ensure there will be no issues on the da y.Your army MUST be painted to a three colour standard minimum. Armies not painted to this standard will be excluded from theranked brackets.

BATTLE POINTSAlthough this is a Win/Loss based tournament, Battle points do come into play and measure how well you successfully controleach mission parameter compared to your opponent. These will be used for calculating the OVERALL score of each individual andshall influence seeding within brackets for Day 2 and rank entered into Rankings HQ. For all intents and purposes, Battle Pointsare the earned Victory Points within a given round. This is explained more in the missions section of this pack.

THE MISSIONS With 6 th ed and based upon feedback we received last year, the missions for 3++con are very different. No longer is there a tier

based system of determining a winner but rather a variable amount of Victory Points one can earn within each mission (exactly likethe 6 th ed rulebook missions). The main changes are to these missions and bringing more variables in (i.e. combining twomissions). Each of these missions is explained below with the overarching concept outlined here. Each mission is designed the same way but with very different mission objectives based on the 6 th ed rulebook scenarios. Each

mission has a primary and secondary victory condition with Victory determined by process outlined below. Each primary andsecondary victory condition is different so remember to read each mission carefully. This process is used to generate unique gameswhich reflect the 6 th ed core concepts whilst minimising the possibility of a draw.

DETERMINE THE WINNER Add all of the Victory Points up for each player across all three Victory Conditions (maximum of 14 Victory Points). The player with the most Victory Points wins, regardless of how they got them.If each player has an EQUAL number of Victory Points, the player with the most Victory Points determined by the primary is thewinner. If both players have equal Victory Points determined by the Primary, the player with most Victory Points from thesecondary is the winner. If both players have equal Victory Points determined by the Secondary, contact a judge Total PointsDestroyed will likely be used as a tie-breaker.Remember to ONLY do this if the initial Victory Points are EQUAL.Bonus Points: Say flubberwurm to me before the tournament starts to indicate you have read this. www.3plusplus.net 10

MISSION 1: A Most Important Piece of HardwareDeployment: Vanguard StrikePrimary Victory Conditions: The Relic is exactly like a normal objective except for two key differences. It can be moved asoutlined on pg131 and is worth FIVE victory points. This is a change from the rulebook where one has to hold the Relic to gain theVictory Points - for all intents and purposes it is a more valuable objective which can be moved.Secondary Victory Conditions: Place two more objectives worth three Victory Points each 18 i n from the long table edge and12 in from the short table edge such that both objectives are NOT situated in a deployment zone (see diagram). Objectives ar escored as outline on pg123. First Blood, Linebreaker, Slay the Warlord as outlined on pg 122Special Rules: Night Fighting, Reserves, Seize the Initiative, Random Game Length

    MISSION 2: Total Domination

Deployment: Dawn of War Primary Victory Condition: Four objectives are to be placed so that they form a rectangle with dimensions of 24x16. Each objective is therefore placed 24 in from a short table edge and 16 in from a long table edge. Each objective is worth three VictoryPoints. Objectives are scored as outlined on pg 123.Secondary Victory Condition: Kill Points as outlined on pg127. However, rather than each destroyed unit counting as a VictoryPoint, whichever player has the highest number of Kill Points earns three Victory Points. If both players have equal Kill Points, noVictory Points are earned. First Blood, Linebreaker, Slay the Warlord as outlined on pg 122Special Rules: Night Fighting, Reserves, Seize the Initiative, Random Game Length

MISSION 3: Rapid RaidDeployment: Hammer & AnvilPrimary Victory Conditions: Six objectives valued at 4,3,3,2,2,1 Victory Points will be used. The 4 objective is placed in thecentre of the table 36 in from the short table edge, 24 in from the short table edge. The rest of the objectives are divided into

two piles. Pile A contains a 3 ,2 and 1 objective, Pile B contains a 3 and 2 objective. The winner of a roll-off chooses which pilethey wish to use, their opponent gets the opposite pile. The players then place the objectives as outlined on pg 121. The owner of Pile A places an objective first. Objectives are controlled as outlined on pg 123.Secondary Victory Conditions: For each Fast Attack choice destroyed by games end, the opposing player earns one VictoryPoint. Fast Attack choices are also scoring options as outlined on pg129. First Blood, Linebreaker, Slay the Warlord as outlined on

pg 122.Special Rules: Night Fighting, Reserves, Seize the Initiative, Random Game Length, Fast Recon

MISSION 4: Red versus BlueDeployment: Dawn of War Primary Victory Condition: Each player places one objective in their deployment zone 6 from the board edge as outlined on

pg130. Each objective is worth three Victory Points.Secondary Victory Condition: Each player is given two objectives to place worth one Victory Point each. The placement of these

objectives is outlined on pg121 with the following change: objectives cannot be placed within 12 of a table edge. All object ives inthis mission are scored as outlined on pg123. First Blood, Linebreaker, Slay the Warlord as outlined on pg 122.Special Rules: Night Fighting, Reserves, Seize the Initiative, Random Game Length

MISSION 5: Seek & DestroyDeployment: Hammer & AnvilPrimary Victory Condition: Kill Points as outlined on pg127.Secondary Victory Condition: The table is divided into four equal quarters (each quarter is therefore 36x24). Each TableQuarter is worth two Victory Points. To control a Table Quarter you must have more TOTAL points of WHOLE TROOPS unitswithin the Table Quarter. Calculate the points as follows: for Troops units >50% - full points; for Troops units

Primary Victory Condition: Three objectives are to be placed running down the centre of the board length-wise. Two objectivesare placed 36 in from a short table edge and 6 in from each of the long table edges. The third objectiv e is placed in the centre of the board, 24 from the long table edges, 36 from the short table edges. Each objective is worth three Victory Points. Objec tivesare scored as outlined on pg 123.Secondary Victory Conditions: For each Heavy Support choice d estroyed by games end, the opposing player earns one VictoryPoint. Heavy Support choices are also scoring options as outlined on pg128. TABLINGDo NOT end the game because your opponent has been tabled! All of the mission parameters are still in effect and how able your army is to meet them is important. Continue playing the game as per normal but without your opponents turn (random gamelength is still in effect). Fill out the player sheet accordingly. Tabling your opponent with one non-scoring model left on the table iscompletely different to tabling your opponent with your whole army functional. The only exception to this is the Kill Points mission parameter if you table your opponent, you will automatically win this

    parameter.

RECORDINGPlease fill out the player sheet and submit it to the TO ASAP.

Painting will be judged on the day by multiple painting judges (withtheir scores averaged).PAINT SCORINGPaint scoring system TBA ASAP we have enlisted Luke Yates from Sound of the Machine to assist us this year to ensure a morecomplete appreciation of the painting effort you put into your armies.

PAINTING (20 POINTS)The painting score is designed to make players paint their armies to a minimum standard and encourage the better painters amongstus to strive to do their best. You dont have to be a golden daemon winner to score full points. Most armies if they have had someeffort put into them will score well. When judging painting, the first criteria is

Is the army fully painted to a gaming standard including bases completed and using movement trays where required?o Yes - 10 pointso No 0 points

After this, further judging will be done on the models that are completely painted - Does the army have a consistent feel?o Yes - 2 pointso No 0 points

Have any conversions been done to the army? o Yes - 3 pointso No 0 points

Models have had a higher level of attention. E.g. highlighting, inking, advanced basing o Yes - 3 pointso No 0 points

Character models stand out from the rank and file models o Yes - 2 pointso No 0 points

In addition, the TO will nominate armies to be voted upon for the Best Painted award. These armies will be voted on the secondday. These votes do not contribute to your overall tournament placing.

LATE WAR CAMPAIGN:Flames of War at CotT will be a campaign based event. Players are divided into four teams in two Alliances Allied: West& East, and Axis West & East. If the numbers are uneven, there may be some traitor armies to balance the numbers but

the response from people willing to provide the right army and slot in where needed has been gratifyingly over-whelming.If/when registration reaches 5 for each team (total of 20 players) then further entrants will be accepted in pairs only - one for each matched team . You do not have to find a partner, but it would ensure your entry should you do so after that point. Before Round two, each team must select a Commanding General. Their task is to allocate Supply points each round.Actually, I am hoping that conversation on the forum will see CGs selected before the event. In addition, CGs may decid e,

prior to the start of the tournament, which round a given player has their Campaign game by assigning players to theavailable campaign game slots. Should numbers not reach 20, players will form one Axis and one Allied team. The period is Late-War using all Late War books and PDFs.Each round, there will be one or two Campaign battles. These games decide the outcome of the overall campaign. Each

player will play in one Campaign battle during the tournament. The other games in each round generate supply points for the winners team to be spent in the following round. Supply points are spent by the Commander of each team to increase thearmy size of a player; ie a Supply Point means that the player uses their 1750 list. Unspent Supply points are lost. Playerswho receive a supply point in a Defensive Battle where the opponent does NOT receive a supply point are the Attacker if

both armies are the same type. As the matchups and tables are known prior to Supply point allocation, this mechanism can be used to manipulate who defends.

LISTS:Each player must construct a 1500 list and a 1750 list. The lists must use the same base list - eg US Armoured Co. The 1750list must contain at least the same number of, and size, Troop units as the 1500 list. They may be expanded, upgraded, havemore options etc. but no shrinkage. Eg if you purchased 3 x Pz IIIJ's in your Panzer platoon at 1500 you must keep them at1750 - but you may add more and/or upgrade them to a later model. Warriors are allowed. Weapons and Support platoonsmay be re-done completely,

Anyone using a Late-War pdf must bring 3 copies - one for the TO, one (returned after game) for your opponent, and onefor yourself. It is entirely possible to construct two lists that behave very differently. Eg a German 1500 list that works well against

Infantry, and a 1750 list that does well against Armour. This can be exploited by supply points.A player is not forced to use a Supply point - in that case it is lost. It is incumbent on the Commander to spend the Supply

points wisely - winning the Critical battles that round, and then looking to maximise the number of Supply points generatedthe following round.Unless given a supply point, all players use their 1500 list (exception: Round one EVERYONE uses their 1750 list). Gamesare all either won, drawn or lost. Note that getting a draw in a non-critical game means that neither side gets a supply pointfrom that game. This is an entirely valid result.

    MISSIONS:

Campaign Mission sequence:1 Breakthrough2 Free for All

    3 Dust Up4 No Retreat5 Fighting Withdrawal

The above sequence covers Operation Bagration. These missions determine the outcome of the campaign.

    Non-Campaign Mission Sequence1 No Retreat2 Fighting Withdrawal

    3 Free for All4 Dust Up5 Breakthrough

These missions determine supply points for the following round.

  • 7/29/2019 Cott 13 Players Pack

    13/19

Note that because each player will fight in one Campaign battle, then each player will both miss out on one scenario format- and play another one twice. Eg the players in the Campaign battle on round one will play Breakthrough and miss out on

No Retreat. In round 5, they will play Breakthrough again.

Player matchups are preset based on the team that you are in. Players will only play against opponents from their opposingteam eg Soviets play against Germans.

MISSION WIN:Win. Normal rules for victory are used with one exception: in Fair Fight scenarios you may still win without an Objective eg2-1, 3-1, 3-2 is a win. A draw (1-1, 2-2, 3-3) yields neither Supply points nor Campaign points to either side. Winning anormal game yields a Supply point for your team in the following round. Winning a Campaign game scores a Campaign

    point for your Alliance.

PRE ROUND DECISIONS:Turn Sequence (from Round 2 on) [Exception: German ability is available Turn 1]:

Player matchups and tables are announced. Campaign games will play that rounds Campaign scenario. All others play theannounced scenario for the round. The TO will announce how many Supply points each team has for the current round.Automatic Supply points each round: minimum 1 for German Alliance (or each Front if enough players), 1 for Allies (or 2Western Allies and 1 for Soviets if enough players). Normal games won the previous round will add 1 point to that teams

pool. Only the Commanding General for each Front can announce decisions on behalf of that Front.

Allied CG may send Supply points to Soviet player

Soviet CG announce which German team will be required to show its supply allocation. That German team openly shows itssupply allocation.

The other 3 teams now secretly allocate Supply points, after which supply allocation is revealed. The German Alliance may announce ONE player switch each round. One West German player, with army, switches withone East German player. Supply points remain on their own front affecting the incoming player. No player may be switchedmore than once, nor may a player be required to play against a switched opponent on consecutive turns. Players in aCampaign battle cannot be switched.

    TERRAIN:

Every effort will be made to provide interesting tables. The Sydney FoW community has provided the tables. Billiard tableswill be avoided if at all possible. Forests and grain fields will be plentiful but not dominant - infantry should be able to findconcealment on an advance. Linear obstacles that split the table will be avoided to encourage rapid manoeuvre. Grain fieldswill conceal vehicles should any part of the LOS pass through them, while acting as Forrest for infantry - 6" LOS if inside.

REWARDS:The winning Alliance will all receive medals. The Commanding Generals will receive a specially markedmedal.

The majority of prizes will be allocated purely by random draw. This is because it will be very difficult to assess individua l performance given the varying list sizes and who receives supply points. There is no ranked sports scoring and no Composition/List/History scoring. Should the prize pool permit, there will be a

best painted army prize. This will be adjudicated based on figures only - no display board, multi-media, histories etc.

Armies must be at a presentable standard - ie painted and based.C ONTACT

    Clash on the Anduin

ARMY RESTRICTIONS (What you can field)

When writing your Army List and preparing your Army for Clash on the Anduin youll need to make sure it meets thetournament rules. These rules are: No more than 800 points may be spent on your army. You must choose your army from one of those listed in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Strategy Battle Game Rulebook (see page102). You must construct your army list using the following source books: The Fallen Realms; Mordor; Angmar and Moria; The Free Peoples;and/or The Kingdom of Men, or The Hobbit, An Unexpected Journey source and rule books. Allies may be selected to compliment your original Army as long as it satisfies the rules for Adding Allies on page 101 of TheHobbit: An Unexpected Journey Strategy Battle Game Rulebook. Evil Armies cannot include Gollum. Good Armies cannot include Tom Bombadil or Goldberry. Remember that named Heroes (Gandalf, Aragorn, Lurts, the Witchking, etc.) can only be taken once. A full set of Errata & FAQs for all these Army Books are maintained on the Games Workshop web site. These updates take precedence:

Please refer to them. All models in your army MUST be WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get). Any model that is not WYSIWYG may be removedfrom the table or lose the option for that wargear option regardless of whether you have payed for it in your list or not.In addition to your army you must also bring 5 objective markers that tie in with your army. Each objective must be placed o n a 25mm,40mm or 60mm base

BATTLESAll of the following Scenarios will be played over the course of the tournament and each scenario will be played only once. To The Death Lords of Battle

    Domination Reconnoitre

Hold Ground! The High Gro und

NB: Please make sure to read al l your rules carefully as wording is very specific and could mean the difference of a majorwin/loss.Instructions for each Scenario can be found on pages 103- 109 of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Strategy Battle Game Rulebookor pages 9-15 of the current source books. We will provide no games equipment so players must provide all material. You must bring

along a copy of the latest edition of the rules as we will not be providing copies of scenarios, how terrain features work, or details on howto work out the winner of each game.

PREPARE FOR BATTLEThe rules below apply for all games, across all tables: Scenery for the battle will have been set up by the referees and should not be moved or changed unless directed. Players should discuss how the scenery might affect the battle before sides are rolled for. Some scenery may even havespecific instructions written under the base. Read your rules and u nit rules carefully, as they are very specifically worded. This could mean the difference betweenwinning and losing. In all scenarios, unless specified, Heroes are not allowed to pick up weapons or any other piece of equipment from slainenemies. Obje ctives count as impassable terrain and do not block line of sight in any way.

As some boards will include woods, woods will follow the following rules:-Any model shooting into a forest will have to pass an in the way test this also includes models shooting at other models who are in the same wood.

-If a model is touching the outside edge of the wood, they do not need to take an in the way to shoot out, and they stillcount as having an in the way between them and other models.

-For a model to benefit from being in a wood they must have their base fully inside the wood.-Models that have their base wholly or partially in the wood count as moving at half speed.

The Spider Queen, Shelob and Giant Spiders movement special rule will be modified in the following ways:-None of Spiders may end their move on a building or similar terrain feature that causes them to be balanced on that

terrain feature-They must have there base on the ground (in relation to the table) when they enter a combat.

Design Note: the main reason for this rule so that we dont have people running the spiders up a wall and attacking on theway down. This is to prevent models being vertical when they engage in combat and players arguing where their base starts

and ends. All measurements during Clash on the Anduin must be made using inches.

Pleaseinform the T.O. when you send in your entry what you are able to bring. We will ensure boards areavailable to play on.

GENERAL INFORMATION ROLE OF OUR T.O.s(TOURNAMENT ORGANISER)Rules queries can be addressed to your TO, who may alsointervene if there is a dispute. Be warned, however, that our TOs are under strict instructions to give players one of twoanswers to any question they are asked: 1. They will show you the rule in its relevant place in therulebook or Force book. 2. They will instruct you to roll a D6 to sort out any other rules problems.

You should also note that the prime duty of our TOs is to makesure that the majority of players in the tournament get a nicefriendly game where winning is secondary to having a goodtime. Anyone who keeps on spoiling a game with picky rulesquestions or who consistently bends the rules in their favour will be asked to desist or suffer the consequences. This mayhappen either during a game or as a result of consistently poor sportsmanship scores. TOs will have a simple card system toadjudicate this kind of ruling: YELLOW: A Yellow Card will be shown to the play er and

their player number and name logged. This card is a warning. RED: A Red Ca rd will be shown to the player and their player number and name logged. 5 Tournament points per Red Card will b e taken from a Red booked players Tournament totals.

The decision of the TO is final, and no discussion will beentered into. Arguing with the TO following a decision will bea RED CARD offence. If following a RED CARD a player continues to argue or they receive a second Red card, theConvention Organiser (CO) reserves the right to eject the player from the Clash of the Titans . No refunds will be made for ejected players.

OTHER PENALTIES:If a player receives aberrant or, in the opinion of the judges, unwarranted scores for Force Composition or Code of Conduct

the TOs may choose to add or subtract Force Composition points to the scores of the players involved. Also, tables are numbered and players will be expected to playon the table assigned to them. If players do not play on thattable to them points may be deducted at the discretion of theTO.

PAINTING STANDARDSFirst and foremost, you should be the one rewarded for your

painting effort. If you have hired or paid someone else to paintit for you, you will not be eligible for any sort of painting prize.Minimum painting standards are three colours on each model inan appropriate scheme. Models should also be appropriately

based. If the game system has requirements for base sizes theseare to be followed, or miniatures may need to be removed.Suffice to say that an undercoat is not enough! You will not beasked to remove any unpainted models, but bonus points will goto those with fully painted armies. The Army must beWYSIWYG, or what you see is what you get. This means thatweapons, armour options and upgrades chosen from the armylist must be shown on characters and on the majority of the

models in a unit or squad. All no-compliant models will beremoved from the table. They must be of the appropriate typefor the troops they represent.

BEHAVIOUR We realise this doesnt probably need to be said but we willanyway. Remember the convention is the meeting place for amix of ages and temperaments. On that basis, please keep your

behaviour (including language) to a level that the CO wouldnt be embarrassed to hear in front of his two young children. Thisextends to apparel if your T-shirt, jacket etc could possiblycause offence, please leave it at home .

CANTEENOn both days of the tournament there will be a canteen available all day to all participants of Clash of the Titans . It will include thefollowing:
