The City of Busselton is holding a Community Bids grant information workshop for all interested not-for-profi t incorporated community and sporting groups. The aim of the Community Bids scheme is to grant fi nancial assistance to organisations that provide services or activities that align with the City’s Strategic Plan and deliver sustainable social, environmental and /or economic benefi t to the City of Busselton community. CITY OF BUSSELTON INFORMATION SESSION

TENDER INFORMATION FOR A PANEL OF PRE-QUALIFIED

SUPPLIERS FOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

The City of Busselton is hosting an information session for builders interested in Tendering for

a panel of pre-qualifi ed suppliers for Construction Services.

The information session will be held in the Kaloorup Room, however, attendees will need to

present to the Customer Service Centre (off of 2 Southern Drive) to be signed in as a visitor.

The session date and time is Tuesday, 3 March 2020 11.00am - 12:30pm. Please register to

PROHIBITED AND RESTRICTED BURNING TIMES EXTENDED

During February the City made permanent changes to its Prohibited and Restricted Burning

Times. These changes have been made to allow the City to exercise greater control of

ignitions within the City and thereby allowing for the safer use of fi re as a means of

mitigating the risk of fi re.

As of 15 February 2020 the following will apply:

• Prohibited Burning Time: 1 December to 28 February each year

(was 15 December to 28 February)

• Restricted Burning Time: 15 October to 31 May (was 2 November to 12 May)

As a result of the changes to restricted times, burning permits are now required from

15 October to 30 November; and 1 March to 31 May each year.

The provisions were adopted in March 2010 are hereby revoked by the publication of this notice. The rescission shall have effect from the 26 February 2020.
