Rochester Community Schools Counselors will be hosting a Financial Aid Night for ALL parents. A financial aid representative from Baker College will be speaking about financial aid and the FASFA. The presentation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th, in the Rochester High Auditorium.

OU helping with Financial Aid

Oakland University is once again offering Financial Aid Night presentations. The presentation will provide general information, which can be used at any school a student chooses to attend. OU will also host FAFSA Workshops in January and February for families that feel they need assistance completing the application. PROJECT GRADUATION

Project Graduation is a credit recovery program delivered on-line for students in Rochester Community Schools. The program is designed to assist students in recovering credits in courses for graduation. The goal of this program is to accommodate students who have attempted but not successfully completed a course in the traditional learning environment; however, he/she is committed to completing the academic requirements for graduation. Counselors will work with students, parents and administration to evaluate the proper placement of students in this program.

The program is a computer-based, online learning system that provides students with another medium for achieving academic credit. The online system allows students to work at their own pace in completing necessary academic courses without sacrificing the rigor of a traditional classroom. The cost is $125, and $55 for students with free and reduced lunch.
