Although I love my current teaching position at Flat Rock High School, after 20 years I am looking to expand my skills in a new job that will once again challenge my abilities and utilize my personal drive and organization skills.

I feel I would be very well qualified for this position. I have been involved in education my entire life and am very adept at communication and organization. As an additional asset, I have worked on committees regarding school improvement, technology and curriculum planning. I have also held the positions of building representative and salary chair for the negotiations team in the district EA (Michigan Education Association).As a teacher, my communication skills are impeccable. My ability to negotiate and deal with personnel issues is highly developed due to daily use. I am well versed in computer usage (both software: HTML, CSS, Office, etc. and hardware) and have an extensive math and science background (specifically calculus, chemistry and physics). My master’s degree is in education leadership and further enhances my ability to manage and run programs that may require oversight of others.I am extremely organized, time conscious and meet all deadlines well in advance. My very nature is one of a busy body that is only happy when occupied. The managerial tasks required by this position would fit well with my personality.

On a personal note, I am a bachelor with no children so my schedule would be dictated by the company’s needs.
