I am a recent graduate of Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia where I was awarded a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a focus in Public Relations and Marketing. I am excited to start my career in this field and feel that I am well prepared to deliver positive results if given the opportunity.

Over the course of the last two years, I have been employed by Ryder System, Inc. as a National Rental Account Manager and at Enterprise Rent-a-Car where I was groomed in their Management Trainee Program which I started as an Intern. I know I am qualified and prepared for any position due to the extensive academic course work and practicums of the communication department at Columbus State University. Through my course work and internships, I have been able to develop and strengthen my understanding of Communication practices and B2B marketing. While participating in two recent internships, along with my position at Enterprise, I was able to actively develop and practice the skills I learned in college.

At the American Red Cross, I was able to focus on event planning, fund raising, and account management. I was most proud of being in charge of event development for the Board of Directors. I developed an annual fundraising event called “Tailgating with a Purpose to Benefit the American Red Cross”. Also, I utilized my B2B marketing skills, gained confidence and increased my selling skills. I also learned how to develop and broker a deal that is mutually beneficial to both parties.

I have had many rewarding opportunities that have enabled me to grow in the areas I really enjoy like marketing, management, and the arts. I feel that my knowledge, confidence and skills not only meet the requirements of the position for which I am applying, but make me an excellent candidate.
