craig ranch hoa letter to residents

1
Dear Residents- We are alarmed and concerned about the events that happened Friday in our community. We continue to work with authorities to gather all the facts from this incident and we will do everything we can do to assist them. Right now, there are more questions than answers. The Craig Ranch Community Association Board of Directors did meet today with the McKinney Police Chief and the Assistant City Manager regarding Friday’s events and the demonstration this evening at 6:30 pm. The demonstration walk will take place from Comstock Elementary to the Riverwalk Pool in Craig Ranch North and back to the school. We expect this will be a peaceful demonstration. We do not know the route, but because we do expect a large turnout, we suggest you move cars from the streets into garages or driveways to open up public spaces. Please remember demonstrators have every right to peacefully protest on the streets and sidewalks. Let’s have a peaceful event and hopefully we can begin to bring some healing to this very emotional situation. This is a peaceful, increasingly-diverse neighborhood that is growing and thriving because of our differences in background, race, reasons for moving here, and in many other ways. At this moment, we are asking our neighbors to take a deep breath and allow the Police Department to complete their investigation. Prayerfully, McKinney leadership will move quickly to address all aspects of Friday’s events. Sincerely,

Dear Residents-

We are alarmed and concerned about the events that happened Friday in our community. We continue to work with authorities to gather all the facts from this incident and we will do everything we can do to assist them. Right now, there are more questions than answers.

The Craig Ranch Community Association Board of Directors did meet today with the McKinney Police Chief and the Assistant City Manager regarding Fridays events and the demonstration this evening at 6:30 pm. Lets have a peaceful event and hopefully we can begin to bring some healing to this very emotional situation.

This is a peaceful, increasingly-diverse neighborhood that is growing and thriving because of our differences in background, race, reasons for moving here, and in many other ways. At this moment, we are asking our neighbors to take a deep breath and allow the Police Department to complete their investigation. Prayerfully, McKinney leadership will move quickly to address all aspects of Fridays events.

Sincerely,
