1. Go to http://campus.extension.org/.2. Login with your eXtension ID and password or OpenID.3. Since these courses aren’t public yet, find your course shell using Search Courses.4. E-mail Becky for teacher status for the course you want to work in.5. Open a new tab in your Internet browser (Explorer or Firefox).6. Go to http://www.slideshare.net/tag/NDSUMoodle7. Click on the course you want to develop in Moodle.8. Between the title and the PPT slide, click on Download.

9. Save the PPT on your hard drive. You’ll be pulling info from it to create content for the Moodle course.

10. Save a couple photos or graphics separately on your hard drive by right clicking on each and choosing Save as Picture.

11. Copy and paste PPT notes or create similar content for Moodle information.

Settings – format the courseThink about objectives and instructional design firstLogical, short chunks of information; not more than 15 minutes per chunkMay hide sections from students until readyStudents enroll themselves, password (enrollment key) may be required

Add a resourceBook – kind of like PowerPoint, may add video and/or audio, chapters are like pages in a bookCompose a text pageLink to a file or Web page – put in Administration Files first

Add an activity – quiz, survey, certificateQuiz questions – create question bank and categories separately first, then pull questions into a quiz

Grades – see scores of all participants, may be downloaded

Games – crossword -- http://pdc.extension.org/mod/game/attempt.php?id=1780Also cryptex (word search) and hangman

Choice – similar to poll, have students vote/share opinion
