Create Space How can I cite a CreateSpace book?

If I needed to put a citation in a book, this would be the simplest, MLA style, citation:

 

Hocking, Amanda. "Fate: My Blood Approves." Charleston: CreateSpace, 2010.

 

That is the bibliographic information, and proper form. I asked customer support: If were to put that citation in a book to be printed by CreateSpace, this is their answer:

 

After checking with my supervisor, we have determined that your choice of listing CreateSpace is like referencing us as the publisher, which we do not allow since we are a self-publishing platform.
