    order to attain a state of relaxation where he

    felt free fro! the stresses of life and the

    constant !ental chatter in his !ind. 6hat he

    didn-t (now is that the state of relaxation hesought could "e achieved without external

    sti!uli. He could access the state of

    relaxation at will once he understood that he

    is the source of the states he ,nds hi!self in

    and out of daily. 'n the sa!e way as he used

    alcohol and !ari:uana to induce his state he

    could use his !e!ory to induce the sa!e

    state. $hin( a"out it# intoxicants only

    sti!ulate what is already within us. Alcohol

    and drugs induce relaxation or happiness

    "ecause it exists within. 'f the states we see(

    through intoxicants are already within us then

    do we need intoxicants to access the!/ o.

    6e can recall states of happiness# :oy# love#con,dence and peace at will. 6e can si!ply

    he realised to his surprise how easy it was to

    enter in and out of states without the need for

    intoxicants. He realised then that "y

    extending the duration of ti!e spent in a state

    of peace and relaxation he could reduce the

    need for alcohol and !ari:uana. %id he reducehis need for alcohol and !ari:uana/ He did

    indeed. He not only reduced his inta(e of

    intoxicants "ut "eca!e !ore con,dent in his

    had a positive eect in other areas of his life

    fro! his social relations with others to raising
