• The nucleus is like a brain because the brain controls the body like the nucleus controls the cell.

• The cell membrane is like the mouth because the mouth is where stuff goes in and out of the body like the cell membrane regulates what goes in and out of a cell.

• The cell wall is like the skin because the skin protects our insides and supports it like the cell wall protects the cell.

• The endoplasmic reticulum is like a vein because a vein transfers fluid throughout the body like the endoplasmic reticulum makes passages for proteins to move through.

• The Golgi apparatus are like Golgi bodies because they both transport and package proteins.

• The mitochondrion is like food because food provides energy for the body like the mitochondrion provides energy for the cell.

• Vacuoles are like the stomach because the stomach stores everything you intake like a vacuole stores water, food and waste.

• The ribosome is like fluid because fluid floats throughout the body like a ribosome floats on the cytoplasm.
