Creating an ORCID ID from Pure

• Go to your personal profile on Pure (click on your name once logged into Pure).

• Click on Edit Person Profile.

• Scroll down to section headed ORCID. Click on Create ORCID.

• Your details should be populated automatically. Click on Create.

• Your ORCID should now show in Pure but remember to click on Save! If you don’t save then your ID won’t be stored in Pure.

• You will then receive an email from ORCID asking you to claim your newly-created ID and review your information and privacy settings within 10 days.
