Creative Commons– 「 some rights reserved 」： 構建合理的著作權層次– 建立一個合理而富有彈性的著作權模式、以及一個豐富、便捷而
花費低廉的公共資源庫，鼓勵更多創作者的接受、採用、分享。– 始於 2001 年，目前設於史丹福法學院，由董事會所領導，包括
網路法律與智慧財產權專家 James Boyle 、 Michael Carroll Molly 、 Shaffer Van Houweling 和 Lawrence Lessig ， MIT 資訊科學教授 Hal Abelson ，律師轉任紀錄片製作再轉而為網路法律專家的 Eric Saltzman ，知名的紀錄片工作者 Davis Guggenheim ，知名的日本企業家 Joi Ito ，以及公共領域網路出版者 Eric Eldred 。
– 仰賴一群與日俱增之支持者的貢獻來維持運作，目前全球約 36個國家加入推廣。
