Summer 2019 Credit Recovery Program CLEVELAND METROPOLITAN SCHOOL DISTRICT The Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) Summer Credit Recovery Program provides students in grades 9 through 12 the opportunity to recover academic credits. The Summer Credit Recovery program will: • Help students to stay on track for graduation. Utilize an online curriculum with content certified teachers and in-class teachers to help students recover credits in core subject areas. FOR MORE INFORMATION: Contact your high school guidance counselor to register for Summer School or call the Summer School Phone Line at 216.838.0180. STEP 1: CMSD high school students should meet with their high school counselor to discuss and to ensure proper course selections for completion during summer school. STEP 2: Students will meet and receive a weekly status report from the principal, counselor or lab teacher indicating their progress of online course work. STEP 3:  Students have the flexibility to complete online class assignments and quizzes at home, public library, community computer lab or at the designated school site. • Students are strongly encouraged to attend a minimum of two days per week. Regular attendance will help students to successfully complete course work during the five (5) week period. • Students must take all online tests and exams at the summer school site.   DRESS CODE: Students may wear appropriate summer casual clothing during the summer sessions. TRANSPORTATION: RTA tickets will be provided on a daily basis for students who qualify (1.5 miles walking radius). Verano 2019Programa de Recuperación de Crédito de Distrito Escolar Metropolitano de Cleveland

El programa de recuperación de crédito del Distrito Escolar Metropolitano de Cleveland (CMSD por sus siglas en inglés) brinda a los estudiantes de los grados 9–12 la oportunidad de recuperar créditos. El programa de recuperación de crédito de verano:

• Ayuda a los estudiantes a mantenerse en camino hacia la graduación.• Utiliza un currículo en línea con maestros certi� cados para ayudar a los estudiantes a recuperar

créditos en materias principales.

PARA MÁS INFORMACIÓN: • Contacte a su consejero para registrarse en el programa de recuperación de

crédito o llame a la línea telefónica de la Escuela de Verano al 216.838.0180.

PASO 1: El estudiante debería reunirse con su consejero para escoger los cursos que completará durante la escuela de verano.

PASO 2: Cada estudiante se reunirá semanalmente con el director, consejero o maestro del laboratorio y recibirá un informe sobre su progreso con los cursos en línea.

PASO 3: El estudiante tiene la � exibilidad de completar los trabajos y pruebas de sus clases en línea en casa, en la biblioteca pública, en un laboratorio de computación o en ciertas escuelas designadas.• Asistir un mínimo de dos días por semana es � rmemente recomendado.

– La asistencia regular ayudará al estudiante a terminar los cursos exitosamente durante el periodo de cinco (5) semanas.

• Los estudiantes deben tomar todos los exámenes en línea en la escuela designada para clases de verano.

CÓDIGO DE VESTIMENTA: Durante las clases los estudiantes pueden utilizar ropa casual de verano apropiada.

TRANSPORTE: Diariamente se proveerán boletos de RTA a los estudiantes que cuali� quen (1.5 millas caminando).
