As we pray for our church planters each Tuesday in three Asia countries, remember that they are living in mega-cities of millions of people who need to know Jesus. Pray for our newest partners who are in their first term on the field. This couple is learning the local language in order to share the gospel and teach God’s Word effectively. Another couple and their children have been in Asia for many years, pray as they travel extensively advocating for prayer and training others. Our third partner is a team made up of a family wih four children under 11 and three single women. Pray as this team ministers to children and families through our IKORE ministry and as they launch a new church in the coming months.BETTER TOGETHER

Welcome to The Church at Sugar Creek! Today we celebrate our faith by focusing on the final aspect of our salvation, what theologians call “glorification.” The dictionary defines the term as “…the process where God removes all spiritual defects of the redeemed.” As Christ followers we are on our way to Heaven. Then and only then is the work of salvation completed.

The great news is that the hope of that moment is secured in the power of God and not on our ability to stay undefiled by sin. The price for our redemption has been paid in full and we have the Holy Spirit as a promise of Heaven.

“When you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and when you believed in Him, you were also sealed with the promised Holy Spirit. He is the down payment of our inheritance, for the redemption of the possession, to the praise of His glory.” Ephesians 1:13-14

Today as you pour out your heart in worship, reflect on the joy that comes to the one who knows that he/she is bound for a place where no sin exists. That causes our heart to leap with joy! I am glad you are here to share in the moment.
