Please note that all pastry must be homemade. Please cover all cakes and savouries with clearplastic bags only. Plain clear glass jars should be used for exhibiting jams, these should becovered with wax discs and transparent tops, no screw tops allowed. Screw cap tops should beused for chutney and pickle jars.
Cup PresentationWe will present the Certificates and Cups on the day to all Winners, but all Cups will beretained by the Cromhall Horticultural Society to enable us to have them engraved.
All Cups will be presented at our Annual General Meeting which will be held on October26th 2016 at the Cromhall Village Hall.

RULES• Exhibits to be staged by 10.30am on SHOW DAY. Judging starts at 10.45am. Tents to be cleared by 10.30am.
THESE TIMES WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED
• The classes will be open to all irrespective of where an exhibitor resides, with the exception of theresidents cup classes 134-138.
• Entries to be handed in before 7pm on 1st September 2016. No NEW exhibitors accepted on Show Day.
• All Exhibits must be grown or worked by the exhibitor except classes 58 to 61.
• All handicrafts should have been completed within 12 months of the Show.
• All pastry must be homemade.
• All cakes and savouries shall be exhibited in clear plastic bags (not cling film).
• All jams shall be exhibited in plain clear glass jars and covered with a wax disc and a transparent top.
• All chutneys and pickles shall be exhibited in plain clear glass jars with screw top lids.
• Judges reserve the right not to award prizes if the exhibits do not meet the required standards.
• Prize money and certificates not collected on Show Day will be taken to Cromhall Village Shop and shouldbe collected by 30th September. After this date, unclaimed prize money will be donated to Show funds.
• A competitor may make only two entries in any class and the better of the two will be judged againstother entries.
• No exhibit to be removed without the consent of the Committee before 4.15pm. Certificates will bepresented at 4pm. If you would like to donate your exhibit to the Auction, please bring to the Auctiontable immediately after Cup presentation.
• All winners to return cups to Cromhall Village Shop at least 2 weeks prior to the Show. You can contact theshop on 01454 299 262. Opening times are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 1pm and 2pm - 5pm ANDSaturday, 8.30am to 11.30am.
• In the event of a tie for any trophy the exhibitor gaining the most 1st prizes will be declared the winner.
• The Committee will not be responsible for any loss or damage to exhibits or personal property. TheCommittee’s decisions on all points are final and binding.
