• Neighborhood Liaison facilitated monthly dialogue meetings through the Neighborhood Voice Community Council• Neighborhood Voice has sponsored 2 block parties and a “Winter Wonderland” celebration

What We’ve Learned

• Parties work! Neighborhood celebrations have

been successful• Communication helps: Neighbors appreciate

knowing about big campus events and participating in problem-solving (Move out example)• Students are hard to engage: we’ve had a small

group of dedicated students, it is our goals to increase that next year

Next Steps

• Continue with Neighborhood Liaison position and

Neighborhood Voice meetings• Increase student representation• Engage a student counterpart to Neighborhood Liaison • Develop “Building Representative” position

• Create logo, branding, and website• Engage residential life to prepare for next year• Expand police coverage
