Why Are Cambodians ‘Unlikely Diplomats’?

• YOU are in demand for global meetings and feedback.

• Just don’t be afraid to share your knowledge with the crowd. Give it a try.

Don’t Be Shy: At Mekong ICT Camp 2010 I barely knew

anyone. So I started sketching people.

Page 31: Crowdsource Your Life

By the end of the conference I was a lot less shy.

New Ideas

• During the Camp I learned about ‘Open Data’ from expert Laurence Millar.

• This changed my thinking, and eventually got me a job creating Open Development Cambodia. I’m now on the board, and doing ‘Open Comics’.

• I returned in 2013 to share the results of our hard-working team. I never expected this.

• Get ideas from the crowd, share your success with the crowd.

Be careful… you might make friends!

Friends care about your work, your life, your feelings.

The bigger your network is, the more time you spend on it. Don’t overdo it.

Take from the crowd, also share with the crowd.
