A Letter from Our Pastor...
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings in the Name of our Risen Lord Jesus Christ! There are a few items I wish to share with you. Firstly, it is with great pleasure for me to announce Mr. Dakota Vidal has accepted the position of Athletic Director. Coach Vidal has made great strides in our Athletic Department this past year as the Interim Athletic Director. Coach Vidal’s accomplishments this past year as well as his vision for the department and his love for The Atonement Academy make us proud to have him as the leader of our Athletic Department. We look forward to great athletic success for years to come. Secondly, I am excited to announce a “Meet and Greet” with our new Head of School, Mr. Matthew Watson. The event is scheduled for this Sunday, May 5th from 7 until 8pm in St. Anthony Hall. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend. The “Meet and Greet” is a great opportunity for parents to hear firsthand of the positive future being planned for the Atonement Academy. Please note: this “Meet and Greet,” while scheduled, is dependent upon Mr. Watson’s wife —due to deliver their sixth child any day!
Lastly, now that I am back working full time, Vickey and
I would like to thank all of you for your prayers, con-
cern, cards, meals and gifts during the time of my sur-
gery and recovery. Your generosity showered us with
your love and God’s. We are truly humbled and appre-
ciative for all your kindness. Your actions provided the
absolute best possible environment for me to heal.
Again, we extend a heartfelt thank you to all. May God
continue to bless us.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Father Mark Lewis Pastor

Thank you to all of you parents for your support of your children and PSIA, and for making the trip to Fort Worth. Thank you to all the parents who filled volunteer posi-tions. PSIA cannot run without parent volunteers! A spe-cial acknowledgement to those of you who were Assis-tant Directors, as we know that was a big time commit-ment. If you have any important comments/feedback about your experience yesterday, please send an email to Mrs. Zuberbueler and/or me so we can pass it on to the PSIA organizers. If your student has a dictionary or atlas, please have him/her return it to Mrs. Z. this week. Please leave the tabs intact.

everyone, “We are days

our Campus and support our
Athletic Department.
The Lift-A-Thon will begin
at 9:00 am and should con-
clude around 12:00 pm. Our
Lift-A-Thon t-shirt fund-
raiser is still going on, with
about six days left, we are
10 shirts shy of our goal.
Here is the link to help sup-
port our Weight-room and

Special note from our contest coordinator, Mrs. Weems: THANK YOU to all the teachers who helped these students work so hard to develop their God-given talents and accom-plish these achievements!
Please help us have an accurate enrollment headcount for next year! Parents, please log into your RenWeb account and under “Apply/Enroll – Enrollment/Re-enrollment “ confirm the status is either “submitted” or “start packet/edit”. If the status for your child is “submitted,” your child is fully enrolled and we thank you! But if the status is “Start Packet or Edit,” the enroll-ment for 2019-2020 is not complete! Please complete it as soon as possible. Thank you for your cooperation.

The sixth graders are learning about the at-
mosphere and weather patterns in Earth Science, and over Easter Recess the stu-
dents took pictures of different cloud types to identify and share with their classmates.
Brian and Joseph are holding up their com-pleted poster boards showcasing some of the clouds they saw and identified over the

Third grade’s field trip began with on a journey through the solar system at the Scobee Planetarium and finished with lunch and fun at Raymond Russell Park. At the Planetarium, they were starving and wanted to hurry to the park for pizza and to play. They spent two hours in the park playing. They were begging to return to school. I told several students - be careful what you ask for – too much fun!
