• Students in this program must have a driver’s license, student parking permit, and have personal transportation to participate in this program.

Planning Ahead - Dual Enrollment

• This program allows students 16 years and older to take courses for high school and college credit.

• Students must meet enrollment requirements of the college.

• Please see your counselor for more information.

Planning Ahead-Pathways

• There are three pathways that start during a student’s junior year. These pathways are dual enrollment with Savannah Technical College:– Welding Pathway (will need to take Industry Fundamental and

Occupational Safety during 9th or 10th grade year as a pre-requisite)

– Cosmetology Pathway– Law Enforcement Services Pathway

Sophomore Checklist!!

• Learn about dual enrollment options for earning and funding college credit while still in high school.

• All sophomores will take the PSAT in October.

• Start exploring colleges to see what their requirements are for college admission.

Sophomore Checklist!!

• Track your GPA eligibility for the HOPE Scholarship (you can do this on GACollege411.org)
