• Given ~200 public lectures in Southwest Florida concerning various topics in science and the importance of science to society.

• Presented in numerous workshops for managers and decision-makers; examples include: The Gulf of Mexico Alliance, Focus the Nation, Greater Naples Leadership, Leadership Collier, Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, Naples City Council, Collier County League of Woman Voters, Collier Board of County Commissioners.

• Worked closely with numerous environmentally missioned government agencies and NGOs, including: Rookery Bay NERR, South Florida Water Management District, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Collier County, The City of Naples, Collier County Coastal Zone Management, The Conservancy of Southwest Florida, Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife, the Florida Panther and Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuges, Big Cypress National Preserve.

• Founded and served as the chairperson of the Big Cypress Watershed Restoration Coordination Team, a group that reported to the South Florida Ecosystem Restoration Working Group that prioritized Greater Everglades’ restoration projects.
