- Cheap alcoholism; what are the risks. The project was to study the extentof damage caused by cheap spirits that are largely produced and marketed inKenya.
- A comparative study of starch stability in three varieties of sweet potatoes,i.e. Red, Yellow and White. The project was to storage qualities of thesepotatoes.
- Wrote a paper on alcohol industry in Kenya.- Areas covered include:

I am a qualified and experienced food scientist. Have wide knowledge andexperience from Jomo Kenyatta University, University of Nairobi and several foodcompanies. Organizations that I have worked for include:
1. The University of Nairobi (from 220d August 2012 to date.), as atechnologist food science, nutrition and technology department.
Responsibilities
- Planning, coordinating and assisting students both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels carry out their practicals and research project.
- Working with the university researchers in various research activities.- Taking part in the implementation of ISO 9001:2008
- Management of laboratory inventories- Maintenance of laboratory equipments and reagents
2. Agrochemical and food company (from September 2005 to August 2012),as process operator.
Responsibilities
- Planning and operation of production processes e.g. alcohol and yeastfermentation, water treatment, alcohol and yeast production by fermentation,vacuum filtration and drying of yeast.
