tier 1: in-room Concierge guide (Cost - $0)A straightforward, informative guide that includes everything guests need to know about the property in one easy-to-use and beautifully designed resource. Sections could include key phone numbers, dining options and menus, property amenities, and more. Six to ten pages are dedicated to hotel content.

tier 2: in-room Concierge magazine (Cost - $8,000)In conjunction with the straightforward content included in Tier 1, this mid-level magazine includes feature articles that engage readers and bring the property and local surroundings to life. Twenty-four pages of content allow hotels to achieve marketing objectives while also providing a more complete experience for guests.

tier 3: Premium Concierge magazine (Custom Quote)A complete top quality, perfect bound magazine devoted to being the definitive travel and lifestyle publication for your guests. With an expanded section for hotel marketing content, plus enhanced feature articles and photo essays, this magazine weaves hotel marketing objectives with sophisticated feature articles that appeal to the most discerning travel connoisseur.

Your eMagazine is a completely interactive tool with flipping pages, embedded links, and an interactive table of contents. We’ll even provide you with quarterly updates detailing exactly how many people read your eMagazine online.

Publishing PaCkageA three-tiered product suite is available depending on budget and magazine complexity. All publishing packages include a printed concierge magazine, as well as a flipping electronic version that can be posted on the web or sent via e-mail. eMagazines are available for 12 months from date of press. Please select your preferred tier:

qtier 1 – in-room ConCierge guide (Cost - $0)Page count is dependent on advertisement participation as outlined below. Hotel will supply at least 8 pages of content to showcase property and amenities. Remaining content, if applicable will be coordinated by Hawthorn Publications' edit team. Binding is saddle stitched up to 52 pages.

qtier 2 – in-room ConCierge magazine (Cost - $8,000)Pages - 24 pages of content allocated accordingly:

• 1 page for table of contents, • 12 pages showcasing hotel and amenities • 6 pages dedicated to editorial coverage about the hotel and/or surrounding area.

• Quantity – 2,000 guides• Binding – Saddle stitched• Edit coverage – Client provides basic marketing information for hotel showcase.

Hawthorn coordinates and writes all other content. All article topics are discussed with client and approved prior to assignment.

Web exPosureProviding exposure on your Web site will bring added visibility to your supporting advertisers and provide your guests with access to local area resources even before they arrive at your property. We encourage all properties to select at least one if not both, of the following options:

qExclusively feature the advertising businesses, on your Web site, with links to their Web sites. Please list the individual responsible for posting the links on your Web site:_________________________

qPost your eMagazine on your Web site. We will provide you with a digital image of your brochure cover that you can post and link to the electronic version of your concierge guide.

ProduCtion sCheduleIf there is a specific date by which you need your concierge guides, please let us know. Please keep in mind that the average production schedule lasts six months. We will do everything within our power to meet expedited deadlines, but we cannot guarantee dates less than six months from this contract date.

distribution PointsWe strongly encourage clients to place this concierge guide/magazine as the exclusive publication within guestrooms and at the concierge desk. The inclusion of other magazines may stand in the way of guests accessing hotel-branded collateral and it may inhibit advertiser participation. Please check all distribution points where this guide will be made available. Also note whether it will be exclusive:

multi- issue terms (Please Choose one)We are honored to establish multi-issue commitments with our valued clients.

Multi-issue terms ensure that Hawthorn Publications will continue to produce a fresh, new concierge guide or magazine for your property in subsequent years. Sign up for multi-issue terms in advance and take advantage of additional pages or print quantities that will apply to current and future guides. (Renewals begin within 18 months from the previous press date.)

Client agreement• Client agrees to see this project through to completion and distribute all guides/magazines

through the distribution points noted in this contract. • Client agrees to give best efforts in referring business to primarily the advertisers in the guide

for at least 12 months from the publication date.• If client terminates the contract for any reason, client agrees to pay for all services rendered.

Services will be billed at $90 per hour. If Hawthorn Publications chooses to terminate the project, client will not be held responsible for financial contributions.

• Applicable only to Tier 1 Projects: If Hawthorn Publications is unable to achieve the minimum ad sales revenue of $10,000, client may choose to supplement the amount needed to achieve $10,000 or Hawthorn reserves the right to decrease page count and print quantity or terminate the project and refund any/all current advertisers. Once printed, if client is unable to distribute guides, client is responsible for the sum of total advertising revenue.

• This contract is binding upon the parties, their heirs, administrators, successors and assigns. Breach of this contract may result in a legal dispute. Jurisdiction lies in the state of New Hampshire.

• All creative rights are the ownership of Hawthorn Publications. Magazine, contents, design and structure may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission. Photos and any raw material submitted by client will remain ownership of client.
