Vietnam March 2015- to date, Resettlement Specialist, Consultancy Services for Construction Supervision for the BEN LUC LONG THANH Expressway project, Vietnam(GMS Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway Project Loan No.: 2730-VIE), Project Supervision Consultant (PSC). The starting point of the project expressway is an interchange with the existing HCMC — Trung Luong expressway, the ending point is an interchange with the planned Bien Hoa — Vung Tau expressway and will be operated by VEC. The expressway will be constructed under the Project to be 4 lanes and the Government will expand the width to 8 lanes when the traffic demand exceeds 4 lanes capacity. The 6 interchanges (EC) are planned under the Project, i.e., (i) IC1 with HCMC-Trung Luong expressway; (ii) IC2 with National Road 1A; (iii) IC3 with National Road No.50; (iv) IC4 with Nguyen Van Tao road; (v) IC6 with Phuoc An; (vi) IC7 with National Road No.51. ICS with HCMC . The project is divided into a western section (KmO - Km21,744), a middle section (Km21,744-Km3 2,45 0), and eastern section (Km32,450 - Km57,700). Client: Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC) under the Ministry of Transport (MOT), Socialist Republic of Vietnam, JICA and ADB.




Responsible for assisting VEC in updating and implementation of the agreed Resettlement Plan and gender strategy; prepare quarterly social and resettlement monitoring reports until the livelihood development and income restoration program is completed, and prepare corrective action plans as required.
