Featured performers will include The Nashua Flute Choir, under the direc- tion of Eileen Yarrison; Michael Havay, organist; and Sara Phelps, soprano. We fol- low the story of Jean Valjean who has just been released on parole af- ter spending the last 19 years in jail for stealing a loaf of bread. He breaks parole and changes his identity. In- spector Javert, the police officer who releases him, makes it his mission to track down Valjean and bring him to justice as he believes that criminals cannot be changed. With his new identity, Valjean becomes the mayor of a small town and adopts Cosette, the daughter of Fantine, a poor factory worker who dies of tuberculosis. Val- jean becomes involved in the ongoing revolution to fight for freedom and de- mocracy and ultimately makes it his responsibility to ensure that Cosette has a safe and happy future by saving the man she loves. Based on a book by the same name written by Victor Hugo. Music written by Claude-Mi- chel Schönberg with original French lyrics written by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel. English libretto translated by Herbert Kretzmer. He is a writer, director, editor, actor, and composer who took home “Best Web Series” and “Best Comedy” at the Independent Television Festival in L.A. for “Octane Pistols of Fury.” Previous work as a filmmaker includes “Man-Man” (New York Television Festival), “e Stryker Files,” “Sandwich of Terror”, “Scissor Cop”. NASHUA – Set in the year 1815 during a revolutionary period in France, Les Mis is a musical about conflict, loss, love, and hope.
