on the Big Island and the Moana in Honolulu. The final years of his career were spent managing

investigation of a double murder at a Honokowai condominium in 1978, died Tuesday in Maui

Memorial Hospital. Danley was the chief investigator in the murder case against John K.

Lincoln, who was acquitted in December of the murder of Paul Warford. Danley, 48, was born in

DOCTOR, BIENVENIDO SOBERANO, 78, of Koloa, Kauai, died Jan. 5, 1993. He was born

in Mayantoc, Tariac, Philippines. He was a pioneer in the development of a professional care

standard in nursing and care homes in Hawaii. He and his late wife, Sofia H., began the first

nursing home on Kauai where they provided quality care for many aged workers who had no

family. He also was a former plantation worker of McBryde Sugar Plantation. He owned an

export business, a papaya farm and a number of rental units, many of which he built himself.
