CONTRACTORSNotice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received for crushing approximately
15,000 to 20,000 tons of 3/4” crushed rock in the county pit for maintenance and con-struction purposes. Bids shall be received at the office of the Richland County Highway Department, County Courthouse, 418 Second Avenue North, Wahpeton, North Dakota, until 8:45 a.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2021, and then at the commission meeting room at the courthouse, the County Commission will publicly open and read aloud same.
Each bid must be submitted upon the basis of cash payment for the work, on blanks furnished by the Highway Department, and shall be accompanied by a separate enve-lope containing an acceptable bidder’s bond and contractor’s license. Bid proposals may be obtained at the Richland County Highway Department, 418 Second Avenue North, Wahpeton North Dakota.
All bids must be submitted in a bidding envelope that is securely sealed. The envelope shall be plainly marked “Rock Crushing Bids” and shall have the name of the person, firm, or corporation submitting the bid.
The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bids received and to accept any bid deemed to be most favorable to the interests of Richland County.
