the downtown Greyhound Bus terminal or outlying communities without permission from the terminal manager.
• Orientation begins promptly at 7 a.m.• Other services are available at the driver’s expense: Cowboy Cab Company or Dallas
South Greyhound.
• Office: Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon• Shop: 24 hours a day, seven days a week• Driver Services Building #4: 24 hours a day, seven days a week
• For your convenience, safety meetings are available 24/7 through computer based training (CBT) in the Driver Services Building #4
• CBT’s also are available in Administration Building #2• Monday - Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m. to noon.
Entering the Yard: From I-20:
• Take exit 470; go south on Lancaster Rd. to Motor City Blvd. (just before the Pilot T/S) and turn right. Take Motor City until it dead-ends and turn right.
• Stay right as you follow the street around to the guardhouse. You will make a left turn into the terminal.
Parking, Dropping Trailers, Bobtail Parking:
• High value loads are to be dropped next to the guardhouse, as directed by the guard.
• Upon entry, the guard will direct you to where all other trailers go and provide a terminal map.
• See guard at gate for information on personal parking.
Exiting the Yard:
• Have your bills and ID card ready for review when you pull up to the guardhouse.
• Be extra aware of incoming/cross-ing traffic when exiting.

Pre-Training Checklist
Items needed for all Drivers in Orientation:
Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States, i.e. social security card, original or certified copy of birth certificate, U.S. citizen card, passport, permanent resident card, unexpired employment authorization document, etc.
CDL License.
Adequate money for meals. Breakfast pastries and lunch are provided while attending orientation.
For your application - You will receive an email with instructions on how to start your orientation paperworkPlease contact your recruiter if you do not receive it, or if you have questions on how to begin.
For direct deposit (optional) - Please provide a voided blank check with your printed name, account number and bank’s mailing address.
For insurance - Please bring the names, addresses, birth dates and social security numbers of your dependents. Birth certificates and marriage licenses will be required for any children or spouse. You will be able to enroll electronically.
For the tuition reimbursement program - Please bring a copy of the loan contract, enrollment agreement or receipts. You are welcome to email this documentation ahead of time to [email protected].
Specific items for Trainees:
Adequate clothing for seven to 10 days, including casual work clothes and a coat
Personal hygiene items (shampoo, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.)
Sleeping bag or bedding (twin sheets), pillow, towel and a washcloth
Laundry detergent – you will be able to do laundry while out with a trainer
Soft-sided luggage or duffel bag (storage room on the truck is limited)
Backpack or book bag (including pen, pencil, notebook and handheld calculator)
Work gloves, flashlight and sunglasses
Truck driving school diploma
Do not bring: television, CB or any kind of pet while training
Firearms or weapons of any kind are not allowed under any circumstances!
