THEIR LOVE STORYWhen their eyes met, it was like two old souls that have finally reunited. However, they were just meeting for the first time when they both started as freshman at Louisiana State University(LSU) in the fall of 2014. Daphinie and Andre became quick friends and over time, that relationship transformed them in to the dynamic couple they are today. It was on the campus of LSU that Andre proposed to Daphinie one Sunday afternoon amongst their friends shortly before they graduated. He presented her with heart shaped diamond Rose Gold engagement ring, which he knew is her new favorite color. Daphinie received a degree in communications from LSU and Andre graduated with a degree in Business Administration. The happy couple plans to reside in Houston, Texas after their wedding.

ANTICIPATIONThe couple’s “Save the Date” notifications will be mailed out six months prior to the Wedding Date and the invitations will be mailed out three months prior. The couple has chosen a Rose Gold wedding invitation that demonstrates their great style and has just enough glitz and glamour that they’re guests will anxiously await the Big Day!

WEDDING ATTIREThe Bride has chose an wedding gown as unique as she is. It is rose gold form fitting dress with beading and a ruffled organza skirt.The groom and his groomsmen will wear tan colored tuxedos and the bridesmaids will wear Rose Gold colored dresses. The bouquets will incorporate white, rose golds and splashes of green flowers. Guests are asked to dress in Semi-Formal attire. Rose gold accessories will be utilized by the bride and her bridesmaids.

THE CEREMONYThe couple has chosen The Bell Tower on 34th to host the wedding ceremony and the wedding reception. The venue is one of the most popular in the Houston Area and located centrally. It has multiple indoor and outdoor scenic views and is elegant throughout. The couples‘s guests will be wowed from the first moment they enter in to the grand Contessa Room until the last moment of the night. The venue will be decorated with Rose Gold décor.

ATMOSPHERERose Gold accents and décor will be used through the Ball room and reception area. The chairs will be adorned with blush pink chiffon taffeta. White calla lilies and hydrangeas will be used to decorate the arch way and the center pieces on the table.

The couple’s table will be dressed in a Rose Gold skirt.

DINNER IS SERVED

There will be a Cocktail hour while the Bridal Party takes pictures and they will be served refreshment by the wait staff. The Bride and Groom have chosen a formal sit down dinner and the reception will be catered by the venue. Guests will have a choice of Southern Fare which includes Shrimp & Grits, Braised Beef, and a Roasted Chicken.

LET THEM EAT CAKEThe Bride performed cake tasting with three different vendors and eventually settled on a three tired cake with Rose Gold accents and blush pink roses. The layers incorporate the brides‘ love for rich chocolate cake and the groom’s favorite yellow butter cake. The cake is being provided by Yummy Tummy of Humble, Texas.

AMUSEMENTThe Bride and Groom love to dance and want to insure that they’re guests join them on the dance floor. They wanted to hire a DJ that is able to play music that accommodate multiple genres and age groups. They selected the musical styling of JM Productions Professional DJ.

They also elected to use a Photo Booth so that they’re guests have everlasting memories of themselves at the celebration. The Photo Booth will also be provided by JM Productions.

During the ceremony, the DJ will also oversee the giving of the door prizes for oldest living couple, the longest married couple, and the newly engaged couples.

APPRECIATIONThe Bride & Groom have gone all out to show their guests how much they appreciate them for joining in their wedding celebration. Each adult guests will be given mini bottles of rose gold adorned bottles of champagne that are stamped with the couples names and the wedding dates.

The guests will also receive a trinket made of a rose gold key engraved with the couple’s name and their wedding date. Every guests will receive a cake pop in the wedding colors

To show their appreciation to the bridal party, all bridesmaids will receive a rose colored bracelet and the groomsmen will receive a personalized shaving kit.

ARRIVALThe Bride and groom, along with their wedding party, will be chauffeured to the venue by Jordan Limousines. The groom has a fancy for vintage vehicles and has selected a 1963 Rolls convertible to arrive to the venue in. He plans to use the vehicle to transport he and his new bride to the airport after the wedding reception. The rest of the bridal party will travel to the venue in a limousine.

Upon arrival to the venue, all guests will be greet by the wait staff and will be offered light refreshments until the ceremony starts.

SWEETHEART & COMPANY

• SweetHeart & Company will specialize in "Encore" weddings and will target brides over the age of thirty. According to Celebrate Intimate Weddings.com, it was noted in Time.com that the average costs of second weddings is about the same as first weddings. Social media marketing efforts will be focused on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Because most of the Encore brides will be professionals, a LinkedIn account will be created to network with other professionals. Flyers and brochures will be distributed to local salons, bakeries that specialize in wedding cakes and bridal shops. Face to face marketing will also be done at vendor events such as open houses and other networking events.

• Our services include full and partial wedding coordination, event planning and decor, wedding/event website design and branding, invitations, budget planning destination weddings and event fundraisers.

• Ms. Lockhart's five year plan is to transition the company from a part-time business to a full time business which will begin he second career. The ten year and ultimate goal is to open a full fledged wedding and event company that offers a variety of wedding and event services including destination weddings, graphic design, event branding, invitation design and creation
