1) Brushing Habits
Brushing twice a day is a given really, if you’re able to do this, then it will dramatically increase your chances of having healthy teeth.
2) Limit sugary foods
Again, another obvious thing you can be doing to maintain healthy teeth.Sugar can cause erosion on your teeth. So avoid eating too many high sugar foods.
3) Toothpaste
It is a good idea to make sure that your toothpaste contains fluoride. It helps strengthen enamel, which makes it more resistant to decay.
4) Smoking
Smoking has a negative effect on your mouth. Long term smokers can possibly suffer from mouth cancer
5) Visit your dentist
Visiting your dentist regularly ensures that you can keep your teeth healthy, and if you are found to have some problems, then your dentist will recommend the next course of action
6) Varied Diet
By making sure that your diet is varied, you can prevent gum disease
7) Flossing
Flossing after meals and making sure that nothing is lodged in between your teeth decreases the chances of decay
8) Mouthwash
Using mouthwash helps clean your mouth well, but don’t use mouthwash directly after you’ve just brushed your teeth because it will wash away the fluoride

Chew sugar free gum in between eating sugary foods to wash away the remnants of sugar, it also protects your gums in between meals
