Executive Summary• For our final project assignment we were given raw data and had to come up with
valuable information and at the same time create graphs and overviews of the information. We must all remember that it is because of data that we have more concrete answers. I can not stress enough the importance of data. Before a lot of decisions were made by emotions or by instinct and more times than usual would the answer turn not wrong or incomplete. Truth is evidence based decision making has led us to other levels in business, one of the main reasons why data is extremely important is because it gives us more accurate answers. As seen in the raw data provided to us we were able to make graphs with the data making it more visible and valuable. The data provided to us was a lot but we must also remember data is here to stay and therefore we make the effort to learn and put it to use everyday, as we did with our final project.

Who are the top 10 customers in each year? What changes can be made? Cont.• With the data provided we can
determine that the top 10 customers were restaurants in 2007 with only Quick Stop creeping up on the list as the leading supermarket/grocery store, by 2012 there was about half and half but still restaurant led the top ten list. By 2013 supermarkets and grocery stores surpassed the number of restaurants for the top 10 customers. What these restaurants can do is purchase more products from this company during the low season to stock up and have more product to sell during the peak season.

• The lists in the previous slide were gathered from the raw data presented to us. With this data being broken down we can conclude which were the top products by order price totals. Not much change can be done to these products in my opinion, I believe the products sell as demand rises the only thing we can do is have enough data to determine on which given month are the sales on which product peaking so therefore we can invest a bit more on that certain product at that particular time.

How are sales distributed over the regions? What changes have occurred?
• As you can see in the previous slide, there are 3 graphs depicting the sales distributed by countries based on their order price totals. As we can clearly see USA leads the nations in purchases for the year 2013 and 2012 while Germany leads in order price totals for 2007. With all this raw data provided we can conclude which countries have the highest totals and vice versa. This is why data is very important, without the proper data I would of not been able to graph the information and make it more valuable.
