One Routine for All Systems

Our concept reduces the complexity foroperators responding to the wide range ofdifferent manufactures control panels,often found in a control room or securitygatehouse.

The system offers a single operatingroutine for ‘ACCEPT’ & ‘RESET’ for allsystems under control.

Single or Dual Screen Operation

Datalog 4 is Windows 98/NT/2000/XPcompatible and is easily configurable for eitherstand alone or multiple workstations on anetwork.

Datalog graphics offer a range of operatorcontrol capabilities including; mouse, keyboard,touch-screen, graphic tablet, remote control orby volt free contact change of state.

The system includes on-screen dynamic icons,making simple work of complex tasks.

Dual screen displays are available to combinegraphics with text and panel emulation for largersystems.

Alarm Display Management

Navigation around the system is simplified by pointing or clickingon the graphical display to zoom IN or OUT of a building, area orfloor plan.

The system allows ‘USER’ setup and configuration of PORTALSwhich can be either outlined, shaded or invisible.

Clicking on the PORTAL can be configured to zoom IN and clickingoutside the PORTAL can be set to take you back OUT of any mapview.

Simultaneous AlarmsDatalog can handle simultaneous alarm events without the needfor operator intervention. The system offers 256 levels of priorityused for prioritising graphical displays, CCTV and other pre-determined events on alarm.

Help Instructions on AlarmA USER configurable help instruction can be pre-configured for allalarms, with alarm specific event instructions displayed for thealarm in focus. Help files can be edited and saved in either a TXTor RTF format.

Graphical Displays

Under normal non-alarm operation the mainscreen can be used to display either; the mainsite plan or a zoomed view of a more detailedbuilding or floor plan.

Zoom 1 - ActivationOn alarm activation the graphical display willautomatically zoom to layer 1, to detail thebuilding or floor plan and display the alarmicon(s) activated.

Zoom 2 - Detailed ViewOn ‘ACCEPT’ or if two or more simultaneousalarms are activated, a second zoom layer canbe used to display the alarms on a more detailedplan.

Intelligence in Software

Datalog security management softwareincludes a comprehensive range ofdatabase reports. Reports can be printed toscreen, printer or exported.

Alarm Analysis Reporting

Reports can be automatically generated andemailed at the end of day or month.

False Alarm Management

The Datalog Concept provides users with passwordprivilege, a range of reports that can be quicklysearched through the system database.

Comprehensive reports can be generated either in listor graphical format.

Reports include an alarm event analysis which can beeither manually or automatically generated. Alarmanalysis will search, correlate and collate information,to produce quick view graphs to identify trends andpatterns.

Virtual Walk Testing

Virtual walk testing will radically improvethe integrity of any alarm system. Thesoftware can continually check the statusfor all alarms monitored by the securitymanagement system.

A pre-alarm warning display is provided forall devices that have not changed state fora given time period. A further alarm can begenerated once a day every day, if achange in state has not been detected aftera grace period.

Virtual walk testing will help prevent circuitsthat have been by-passed, linked out,failed secure or have not been regularlytested.

Sequential alarm monitoring software provides thecapability to manage more effectively alarms fromdifferent sources.

The software provides the capability to create‘AND and ‘OR’ relationships between differentsystems and detection types, combining them toprovide a more effective system that is resilient tofalse alarms.

Features include; automatic time zones forenabling individual or groups of detectors.Configured to chime only, switch cameras,enhance recording control and pre-alarm awarning, rather than create the unnecessary falsealarm that will undermine the system.

Guard Tour Software

Guard tour software can be incorporated using anyalarm monitoring input connected to the Datalogsystem as a ‘Tour Point’. Devices are secured andinhibited on route as the tour progresses, enablinga single person to patrol in safety and still monitora secure site.

On Screen Control

CCTV display with live on screen videoprovides the user with either touch or point andclick camera selection and PTZ control.

Software IntegrationDifferent manufacturers systems can be connected together by acombination of RS232, RS485, modems, dialup or networkedover a LAN or WAN.

Once connected panels appear transparent and act as oneintegrated system, offering a range of cause and effectpermutations for detection and verification of events.

Intruder Alarm - Panel InterfaceDatalog offers the capacity to connect to arange of multiple intruder control panels.Panels set by RKP can be synchronised withcentral control for Area SET and UNSET.

On Screen Window ControlPanel emulation and custom window forms can be incorporated toprovide the user with unlimited on-screen controls.

Alarm and Output ControlOn screen ICONS can be configured to manually pulse or switchoutput relays/access doors/gates/barriers/bollards/lights/controls.

Closed Circuit Television SystemCCTV camera matrix controllers can be combined to be operatedfrom graphics screens. On-screen camera ICONS can be configuredto operate different systems seamlessly. Alarm events can beconfigured to switch cameras & presets across differentmanufacturers systems.
