Application Development:• Designed a billing system using VB6 and SQL Server to track and manage billable pharmacy

transactions. Included import of pharmacy vendor files, patient and physician management, and ultimately invoice generation. Data file creation and FTP was built in for electronic transfer of billing data. Quickbooks import files were also generated allowing management to import invoice data and manage clients.

• Designed multiple call center web sites using ASP for workers compensation employee enrollment into a pharmacy program. The sites would interface with the SQL Server backend and later tie into the billing and collection systems.

• Created insurance company claim file import processes to store claim data in the SQL Server backend for automated pharmacy card management.

• Designed a pharmaceutical repackaging inventory and customer order/invoicing system as well as a SQL Server backend to track and store customers/customer orders/billing data. The company is regulated by the DEA and requires strict reporting of controlled substances.

• Designed a pharmaceutical inventory system using VB6 and Access 2000 that was installed at multiple clinics throughout the country. The application tracked client customers using a bar code reader (for drivers license). Prescriptions dispensed directly from the clinic were tracked in the system database and controlled substances later reported to state agencies. A label printer was also used for prescription bottle labeling and templates were managed by the application.

• Worked with a contract web developer to create the company site that allows clients (clinics) to place online pharmaceutical orders and track shipments.

• Designed an internal help desk application for ticket tracking using VB.Net.

Database Development:• Created and managed Access 97 and 2000 databases in the early years prior to migration to SQL

Server• Migrated all Access databases to SQL Server including some re-design of database schemas• Created Stored Procedures to perform most of the heavy lifting in the applications• Used Query Analyzer and later SSMS to manage queries, execution plans, backups.• Created some DTS packages for automated processes.
