Evil is released on the world as a result of Pandora’s curiosity.

Hope is what remained to help comfort mankind.

CUPID AND PSYCHE 1. Why was Venus angry with Psyche? Men began to abandon Venus to see

Psyche. 2. What command did she give Cupid

concerning Psyche? Venus told Cupid to give Psyche water

that would make her fall in love with an ugly, awful man.

3. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN CUPID SEES PSYCHE?

Cupid wounds himself with one of his own arrows and gives her a remedy to the water his mother told him to give her.

They had to send Psyche to the top of a mountain, where a monster of immortal birth would become her husband.

ointment up from Proserpina in the underworld.

She became immortal just like Cupid.

of the monster that was kept in the labyrinth?

The monster was called the Minotaur. It was half man and half bull.

Daedalus warned Icarus not to fly too close to the sun and not to fly too close to the sea.
