Our house resembles us and speaks of us because there resides both mind and soul, the place from which we depart and to which we return to share the most enjoyablemoments. Exactly like a made-to-measure article, each houseis different. Lema furni-ture brings the elegance of a serene world into the house through colors and materials which open up the spaces to the Mediterranean light that is so much a part of Italian design. It is modern, warm and welcoming, making use of exquisite wood finishes that can be both lacquered and open pore, as well as contem-porary raw materials such as glass and metal.

IT — L’essenza dello scrittoio Novelist risiede nel nome, che evoca la creatività del passato; i materiali e l’estetica, invece, ne attualizzano l’uso affermandone l’identità di arredo elegante e protagonista dello spazio. Il basamento è costituitoda due gambe incrociatein metallo cromato lucido,che sorreggono il pianoin prezioso noce Canaletto. Nello spessoreridotto sono ricavati due cassettini laterali e superiormente uno scomparto portamatite.

GB — The naturalevolution of T030 is the series of standard compositions presented at the 2013 Furniture Fair incorporating various closed configu-rations to adapt tothe various needs of the day area. Long Islandè un volume rigoroso che vive delle vibrazioni dei cambi di spessore, di peso specifico, di caloretra i diversi materiali utilizzati: il metallo, il rovere termotrattato e il marmo. L’alternanza tra naturale e artificiale costituisce la fibra vitale del progetto: la struttura in rovere termotrattato ospita vani a giorno, cassetti e ante profilati da un bordo con una finitura in metallo color bronzo; il top in marmo bianco di Carrara conferisce una nota preziosa mentre i fianchisono caratterizzatida una lamina metallicacolor bronzo che crea inusuali effetti luminosi.

The alternation between natural and man-made materials is at the heartof the project: the struc-ture in heat-treated oakhouses open compartments, drawers and doorsbordered with a bronze colored metal finish;the top in white Carrara marble confers an exquisitenote, while the bronze colored metal laminate on the sides creates unusualplays of light.

Il top è un piano in legno ripiegatoa formare una “C”, per funzionare in parte come superficiedi appoggio, in parte per accogliere due cassettini che possono essere incastrati oppure usati in modo originale e bizzarro, come conte-nitori liberi.
