towards these subjects alongside

your main course.

As part of your overall study

programme, you will undertake

a range of activities to increase

APPRENTICESHIPS Apprenticeships are flexible work based learning

programmes that give you the opportunity to gain

valuable skills and experience, a nationally recognised

qualification and earn a wage at the same time.

As an employee, apprentices work alongside

experienced staff in the workplace learning hands-on job

specific skills and gaining invaluable experience. You will

usually attend college on a day release basis, improving

your theoretical knowledge of the subject and

working towards your qualifications.

Your course is likely to be free if:

l You are aged 16-18

l You are aged between 19 & 23 on the first day of your

course and you do not have a full level 3 qualification

You are eligible for a learning loan if you:

l Hold a full level 3 qualification and are aged between

19 and 23 on the first day of your course
