Description This DC / AC system is designed as solar home system. It consists of four SolarWorld AG solar modules, each with a maximum power of 80 Wp, a Steca charge controller with Maximum Power Point Tracking and one 12 V battery (BAE Batterien GmbH) with a capacity of 210 Ah. The central solar charge controller ensures the battery is charged correctly and protects it against overcharging. In addition, two Steca stand-alone inverters are connected directly to the battery so that AC appliances can be operated. Steca Solarix PI – Parallel connection: A stand-alone PV system is relatively difficult to size, since often the loads and their average running times are not adequately known, or because, when the system is subsequently expanded, more loads are added. This is where the simple expandability of the Steca Solarix PI inverters pays off. Up to four devices can be operated in parallel. The connections are made via an external box, the Steca PAx4.
