This will have been field recording to get the correct ambience, and quality of the sounds. This also helps to create the correct sounds of the outside. Mood The sounds created a very cold and chilling place that seemed to be filled with danger. Especially when the gunshot goes off. This is significant to show that these people are against each other This would be recorded by using field recording and maybe traditional instruments to create the beat for the background music that sets the mood. Game genre It is a shooter based in the future where this ex-soldier maybe is forced to create a weapon that could be used to end the war. By listening to the cut scene the audio creates the sense of a futuristic war set in the open space. Narrative This helps to give a storyline between the characters. This also helps towards explain what is going on in the story and may give a bit of a background story between two or more characters. This will defiantly would be studio recording because this will minimise background noise, and maximise the quality of the sound recording.
