This graph shows the percentage of children in preschool, kindergarten, grades 1-8, 9-12, and those in college/graduate school. The majority of those in school are in grades 1-8.
There are equal amounts in kindergarten and preschool. There are about one fifth of them in grades 9-12.
This graph shows the different amounts of those who are out of school and what they received. Eight percent were in 9-12 grades with no diploma. 29% are high school
graduates and 30% have some college education. At 17%, the amounts that have a bachelor’s degree nearly double those who have an associates and/or
graduate/professional degree.
The majority of home owners are between 35 and 44 at 28%. 12% of home owners are 15 to 24 and 65-74. 75 and up there is only four percent. A quarter of home owners are 45 to
54. Nineteen percent of home owners are 25 to 34. The remaining 12% of home owners are 55 to 64.
Between 1900 and 2000, the population rose from 63,592 to 626,932. The population increased the most from 1980 to 1990 from 401,851 to 550,043. In 1910 the population
was 64,356 and went up to 55,036 in 1920. From 1930 to 1940 the population went from 59,278 to 72,524. In 1950, Alaska had 128,643 residents which increased to 226,167 in
1960 then to 302,853 in 1970.
In most age ranges, the females are slightly less than males except for 64 years old and up when the women are slightly higher than men.
79% of Alaska is white and 13% is American Indian/Alaskan Native. There is less than 1% that is Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander. 4% are Black and 3% are Asian while there is
1% that is some other race.

DEATH BY STORM WRITE UP
1-In Venezuela, the torrential rains and the flash floods and debris flows that followed on 14 December through 16 killed tens of thousands of people, destroyed thousands of homes, and led to the complete collapse of the state's infrastructure. According to relief workers, the neighborhood of Los Corales was buried under 9.8 feet of mud and a high percentage of homes were simply swept away to the ocean. Whole towns like Cerro Grande and Carmen de Uria completely disappeared. As much as 10% of the population of Vargas perished during this event.
2-There isn’t a lot of information about this storm but the area of Lofoten is in the Arctic Circle and is very popular with cod fisheries. They sometimes don’t have sun for a good month. This storm killed 500 people in 1849.
3-This storm was a blizzard with hurricane-force winds that devastated the Great Lakes Basin in the Midwestern United States and the Canadian province of Ontario from November 7 through November 10, 1913. The storm was most powerful on November 9, battering and overturning ships on four of the five Great Lakes, particularly Lake Huron. The deadliest and most destructive natural disaster ever to hit the lakes, the Great Lakes Storm killed more than 250 people, destroyed 19 ships, and stranded 19 others. The financial loss in vessels alone was nearly US $5 million, or about $100 million at current value.
4-This storm caused the deaths of over 250 pilgrims in 1996 in Jammu and Kashmir (India) due to bad weather. The pilgrims were on annual pilgrimage (Yatra) to Amarnath shrine. During this period there was unusually heavy snowfall along with severe blizzards along the yatra route. Nearly 242 Yatris lost their lives due to exhaustion, exposure, and freezing.
5-Taking place in Norway, this storm killed about 210 people.
6-The Black Friday Storm was a severe European windstorm that struck the southern coast of Scotland, United Kingdom, specifically Berwickshire on 14 October 1881. 189 fishermen died, most were from the village of Eyemouth.
7-Norway, 1899, the Titran Storm occurred. This storm killed 140 people.
8-In 1868, a storm killed 96 people in Lofoten, Norway.
9-In 1962 the Columbus Day Storm struck the US. Wind speeds were up to 145mph and 46 people were killed. There were also hundreds of injuries.
10-In Norway, 30 people were killed during the storm of 1899.

From Then To Now
THE FIRST MODELThe first Camaro was the 1967 Camaro. It was introduced by Chevy as competition for the Ford Mustang. There were different types like convertible, coupe, RS, SS, and the Z/28. The Camaro is classified under a muscle car.
Production #’sRS: 64,842 SS: 34,411 Z/28: 1,002 Total: 221,306
1968 CAMAROMore was added to the 1968 Camaro due to the success of the 1967. Some things added were side
marker lights on the front fenders (government requirement for all 68 vehicles) ,a more pointed front grille, a front spoiler, and divided rear taillights. The front running lights (excluding RS models) were also
changed from circular to oval. The big block SS models received chrome hood inserts that imitated velocity
stacks. This increased the production numbers by over 10,000.
RS: 40,977
SS: 27,884
Z28: 7,199
Total: 235,147
1969 CAMAROThe 1969 Camaro carried over most of the 1968’s mechanics except for the looks. Chevy wanted to
make it look more sporty so the grille was redesigned with a heavy "V" and deeply inset headlights. Some
other changes were new door skins, rear quarter panels, and rear valance panel which gave the car a
much lower, wider, more aggressive look.
RS: 37,773
SS: 34,932
Z28: 20,302
Total: 243,085
SECOND GENERATION 1970-1981The second generation was introduced in February of
1970. Most things were the same except for the automatic transmission, 6 cylinder, and big blocks(V8).Its top motor performance was with the 6.5L at 375hp. The new body design featured a fastback roofline, ventless full door glass, and no rear side quarter windows. Doors were wider to allow easier access to the back seats. The roof was a new double-shell unit that improved rollover
protection along with noise reduction.
1973 Z28
SETBACKS OF THE 1972 CAMARO
There were some setbacks of the 1972 Camaro. There was a strike at a GM plant which affected
production for over 170 days. Over 1000 Camaro’s had to be scrapped because they were unable to meet safety standards due to the issues at the
plant. Chevy was considering dropping the Camaro all together for a while.
THIRD GENERATION 1982-1992
The 3rd generation were the first Camaros with factory fuel injection, four-speed automatic transmissions, five-speed manual transmissions, four-cylinder engines, 16-
inch wheels, and hatchback bodies. One highly noticeable change are the headlights and front view.
Camaro also introduced a new model called the IROC-Z(International Race of Champions). It is similar to the Z-
28 model but more was added to it. However in 1991 Chevy stopped producing this model.
FOURTH GENERATION 1993-2002
The fourth-generation Camaro debuted in 1993 on an updated F-body platform. It retained the same
characteristics since its introduction in 1967: a coupe body style with 2+2 seating (with an optional T-top roof) or convertible (introduced in 1994), rear-wheel drive, and a choice of V6 and V8 engines. The front headlights were more rounded into the frame
of the car. This was the last constant generation that the Camaro had. After 2002 production ceased.
FIFTH GENERATION 2010- PRESENT
In 2009 Chevy decided to start producing the Camaro once again. This generation is well known from it’s role in Transformers as Bumblebee. The 5th generation is also used for cop cars(as seen
below) and as the Indianapolis Pace Car. It is only in 2 door style and either a 6 speed
manual/automatic transmission.
