First, I want to thank all of you for praying for me during the preparation time for taking the “Life in the UK Test”! It means so much to me. I am happy to report that I PASSED with flying colors!! On the day of the test, my friends were able to drive me to the location and we arrived with plenty of time to be able to go over some practice questions. This was VERY helpful! I was so unbelievably nervous. When I got into the test center, I was asked to empty my pockets, put all of my things into a locker, and pull my sleeves up as far as they will go. Then, I was given a piece of paper to read that told me what to expect for the time I was going to be there. I was then called into a room where a gentleman asked me questions to confirm who I was and why I was there. He then made sure I didn’t have any way to cheat, checking behind my ears, at the base of my neck, and then asked me to pull out my pockets to make sure there were no cheat sheets inside. (This was quite the experience) Then he tells me to go into the next room and take the test. I sat down at the computer that was set up for me and began answering questions. I had twenty-four questions to answer and answered them all in 10 minutes!! I was confident that they were all correct, so then I went over them one last time and then clicked the button that said, “end test” . THEN, the worst part was that once I left the test room I had to sit and wait to find out the results to the test. Then I was finally called back and was told CONGRATULATIONS!! YOU PASSED!!! I was so relieved!!! I am so thankful that this part is over!! Now onto getting things sorted for the application process! This will happen in a few weeks. Over the past couple of months for the Ladies Meetings; we have been talking about our Identity in God. Who we are and who He has called us to be, how we see ourselves in comparison to how God sees us, and asking God to open our eyes to see ourselves the way He sees us. Remembering that we are fearfully and wonderfully made! We are currently going through a book called, Defined – Who God Says You Are. The ladies seem to be really enjoying this book and on separate occasions, they have said to me that they are trying to put into practice the things that we have been learning about. How our bodies are His temple and we need to take care of them. 1 – keeping ourselves healthy and 2 – we need to be sure to keep our selves built up in His word and spending quality time with Him! This is really encouraging! I love hearing feedback in knowing that what has been taught is sinking in and taking root! My prayer is that they will continue taking hold of what God is doing and apply it to their lives and in return; that they would be blown away with how they see Him working in their lives. Showing them new and amazing things! Thank you all for your continued prayers and support! You are a blessing to me!
