Katherine, AHS: • New project from January to March, a survey on booster and car seat safety.

The survey will pertain to youth 13 and under

Jody, ECC: • Planning a positive role model event for children aged 0-12 years. On

February 10th, 2019 at the Killam Hall. There is no cost for this event, but please save boxes of all sizes

Helen, Women's Shelter: • Works with women or men experiencing abuse • Coat drive still on • Will take donations of underwear, pj's and socks, must be new • The shelter has 7 bedrooms and 22 beds, a full- time teacher for grades 1-12.

The families can stay up to 3 weeks

Christina Harvey, AHS: • Lots of interest in vaping presentations

Bill Harder & Joy LeBlanc: • Hospice Society is working to provide supports, end of life, and grief care in

the Bashaw, Killam, and Viking areas. Hospice trains 2 times a year in Camrose on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. After training volunteers are able to sit with people till end of life. They need about 12 people per training session. Mileage can be paid to volunteers.

• This is for people living with a non -curable disease • There is no cost and you can self -refer to use this service • Offering a daytime grief class for 8 weeks as an alternative to the night time

class • Website has great resources • Child grief class for ages 7-12 art -based project • Men's cooking class available

Lynne, FFCS: • Shaun McCann from "Great Big Sea", on getting out of addictions, booked for

Feb 21, 2019 in Daysland • FFCS Counsellor is going to Vegreville on Tuesday in the afternoon, and every

other Saturday in Viking • FIRST auction is in Daysland Feb. 2, 2019 • FIRST name change will now be "Flagstaffs Informed Response Sharing

Team", new logo and website to be revealed at our auction in February • Xmas sharing has begun, and hamper pick up day is Dec. 20th, 11am- 2 pm, we

are at 100 hampers so far, 36 families adopted

• Eggs for sale $3.00 for 18 eggs • Picked up new furniture for the office • Men's group was very successful with 13 attending, new group to begin in

February or March, on anger and grief for all ages • Waiting to hear from CMH on the pilot project to hire an animator for this

area, this program is similar to the Alberta Caregivers Course • Has received $5000 from Battle River Community Foundation to go towards

our volunteer Care A Van drivers • Attended the Provincial FCSSAA Conference

Altin, AHS: • Has a caseload of 15

Tanny, Food Bank: • Thanked everyone for all the support • Suggested a food drive in June when the shelves get empty • Client Intake started today and was well received by those she spoke to • Clients are needing their food hampers delivered

Lorraine Bell, Parent Link: • Is in Forestburg on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month, and also Hardisty,

and Daysland on other days • Educates the parents

Sue Freadrich: • Things running smoothly at the club • December Calendars were handed out for Nights Alive

Loretta Kroeker: • This will be her last meeting as funding for the program runs out • She is able to teach mental health first aid for seniors needs 8-25 people. This

is a 2- day course and will cost about $100-$150 per person

Shelby, Dayhome: • Just finished a food bank drive, and collected almost 300 pounds of food

Noreen, Victim Service: • Charity check stop brought in $5,500 and about 375 pounds of food • She has about 76 open files

• Red Serge Ball is March 23, 2019, tickets are $50 each

Holly, Skills Link: • Looking for job placement for a youth with Aspergers if anyone knows of a job

opening • Skills Link will be over at the end of March • Still doing the Mennonite Help office

Deb, RCMP: • Will do presentations on Criminal Record Check, what they for, and how long

are they valid. Who needs one and what clubs should ask for them
