This Friday at Roswell High's stadium at 6:30 PM,Roswell's National Honors Society will be hosting apowder puff football game! This is a friendly flag-football game where junior girls face off againstsenior girls as guys cheer them on from the sidelines.This fun game will raise money for the LeukemiaLymphoma Society to help fight cancer! Well you can do all three by bringing items we can sell at the Roswell High School Yard Sale tothe RHS parking lot by the stadium Friday, December 8th from 5pm-10 pm and receive a taxdeductible donation form from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The yard sale will be SaturdayDecember 9th from 7am-3pm. All proceeds will go the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society inRoswell High School's quest to maintain their #1 standing in the state and Top 10 standing in thecountry as a top fundraising school. Help Roswell High School reach its goal of $40,000 and helpthose who really need help fighting cancer.

Anchor Club Fundraiser: Schermer Pecans

The Roswell Anchor Club is selling a variety of pecan products from Schermer's Pecan Companyof Glennville, GA just in time for the Holiday season. This pecan company has been in businessfor over 70 years and their pecans are top-notch. Attention Juniors, The number one question I get asked by 12th graders is, "How can I sign up forWork Based Learning?" Students can sign up during the course selection period in February withMrs. Flemister in F116. You must be a senior at Roswell with a good attendance and disciplinerecord. Work Based Learning is a program that allows students to leave school early and earn highschool credit while working an unpaid internship or a PAID job! Teacher Mini Grants AwardedYour PTSA membership dollars continue to be at work through our RHS staff and our students! This year, your PTSAMembership dues allowed us to support around $6,000 in mini-grants to teachers so they may enhance their classrooms and makelearning come alive for our students. Please consider joining PTSA even now, as your PTSA dues will continue to help ourstudents throughout year. Just as our opportunities to support our teachers are new every year, your commitment to join PTSA isnew each year. RHS PTSA does no fundraising, like selling wrapping paper or holding fun runs, so your PTSA Membershipsreally count. Farewell set for Old Milton HSThe old Milton High School near downtown Alpharetta is opening its doors Saturday, December 9, from noon to 4 p.m., to give thecommunity a last stroll down memory lane before the building is prepared for demolition.Current and former Milton students, principals, faculty and community members will come together to commemorate the building'spast - and the property's future - in a farewell celebration. The building will be torn down this winter to make way for the newNorth Fulton STEM high school.Visitors can drop by any time during the four-hour event and visit areas inside and outside of the school. Yearbooks, pictures offormer graduating classes and other Milton memorabilia will be on display, and there will be musical performances by alumni,former faculty, and current students. Food trucks also will be on site, making this a fun time for the entire family.
