Vintages – December 12, 2015 Release Overview

Feature A – Gather Round Our third release of wines for the holidays is a roundup of versatile, food-friendly options at accessible prices. These are wines that would be welcome at any gathering, from smaller get-togethers with friends, to big family dinners, to cocktail parties. Like the wines from our two previous holiday releases, they also make good gifts: all are impressive but not over the top.

Feature B – The Magic Flute This collection features six genuine Champagnes at a range of price points. If customers are looking for a truly special gift or elegant addition to a party, Champagne is the world's ultimate indulgence. While these wines are perfect for New Year's Eve toasts, this is a good time to remind customers that Champagne (and sparkling wine in general) is versatile and food-friendly, and also makes a great addition to a holiday dinner. Every Vintages biweekly release, ads run in the Globe & Mail’s Style section. These ½-page ads promote the current release theme, offer readers a “sneak peek” at the release in stores on Saturday and drive home the fact that we offer over 100+ new wines every two weeks.

The next ad for the Gather Round feature from the December 12 release will run in the Globe & Mail on Saturday, December 12, 2015.

January & February Classics CatalogueOn the first Thursday of every month, we launch a new Classics Collection – a limited assortment of premium wines and spirits from the most prestigious and sought-after producers and regions in the world, including rare and older vintages.

The January and February collections will be represented in one print catalogue that covers both collections. Starting January 7 at 8:30 a.m., customers can order the January products at vintages.com/shop or by phone at 416-365-5900 or toll-free at 1-800-668-5226 (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) on a first-come, first-served basis. Prior to the order date, the collections can be viewed online at vintages.com/classics.
