Comparison? The form an adjective or adverbs takes depends on how many things are being compared. The different forms of comparison are called degrees of comparison.

1. Positive degree.

•We use the Positive degree when we speak about only one person or thing.

• For adjectives ending in 'y‘ – cut y then add -ier and -iest.
