Del Mar Race of the Day Analysis optixeq.com ANALYSIS by Emily Gullikson The G2 JC Mabee Stakes is a competitive event for fillies and mares on the turf, and a race where pace looks to be a main handicapping factor given the competitive nature. The overall pace expects to be honest given the “sun” contention with a number of horses in Quad I and III with speed to the first call; also seen in the 50 SpeedRate for this race. That is worth noting for morning line favorite #1 VASILIKA as a Square in Quad III. While she does expect to move forward second start of the form cycle, that PLOT position overall does not have the highest win percentage, and a factor given her expected short price. Similar value concerns with the pace scenario and #7 JULIET FOXTROT shipping in for Brad Cox, and a bit light overall stepping up in class here. Given the post that could force her hand and drawn inside of #8 QUEBEC and inside of #3 IPPODAMIA’S GIRL. Pace could also prove problematic for Osunitas winner, Quad III Circle #5 AHIMSA getting hooked up early with that set of runners. Coming oa dominant eort in allowance-company to make her return to the races #4 TOINETTE looks well spotted here both on PLOT and in class for Drysale. On Standard #3 LA FORCE has a similar Quad II Square position, however a bit unknown given the Surface/ Distance data. With the contention and SpeedRate, and the rails in the true position the Quad IV runners #2 PAVED making her second start othe layoand useful prep coming into this race, and #9 ELYSEA’S WORLD also looks to benefit from the recent start and additional distance in this event.

ANALYSIS by Emily Gullikson

The G2 JC Mabee Stakes is a competitive event for fillies and mares on the turf, and a race where pace looks to be a main handicapping factor given the competitive nature.

Coming off a dominant effort in allowance-company to make her return to the races #4 TOINETTE looks well spotted here both on PLOT and in class for Drysale. On Standard #3 LA FORCE has a similar Quad II Square position, however a bit unknown given the Surface/Distance data.

With the contention and SpeedRate, and the rails in the true position the Quad IV runners #2 PAVED making her second start off the layoff and useful prep coming into this race, and #9 ELYSEA’S WORLD also looks to benefit from the recent start and additional distance in this event.
