Delaware Delegation
Trade Mission to Germany
December 7 – 12, 2015 | Mannheim

Greetings from Secretary of State Jeffrey W. Bullock
It is my pleasure to introduce you to several of our Delaware business leaders during our Global Delaware trade mission to Germany. Germany and Delaware enjoy an excellent trading relationship topping $600 million across both borders last year.
Strategically located between New York and Washington, D.C., Delaware is at the center of the country's largest consumer market. The cost of doing business in Delaware is much lower than other east coast areas, and the State is consistently ranked by the Tax Founda-tion as having the best tax climate in the Mid-Atlantic. Delaware’s economy is healthy and diversified, with thriving bio/life science and information technology industries. Our workforce is highly educated, with the most PhD’s per capita than any other state in the U.S.
Our small state has developed internationally renowned innovations including:
Multi-touch technology used in the first Apple iPhone®
Cutting edge diagnostic instruments for laboratories worldwide
Unparalleled food, nutrition and agricultural science, Nylon, Tyvek, Kevlar®
Vaccines, protein drugs for Ebola and other diseases
Global Delaware has developed a strategic plan and identified Germany as a valuable partner in the European market. We can provide innovative, cutting edge technology and products to meet your business needs. The companies highlighted in this program stand ready to assist you to develop business solutions.
Thank you for taking the time to meet with our business leaders as they look to partner with your organization.
Sincerely,
Jeff Bullock
Jeffrey W. Bullock Secretary of State State of Delaware

ANP Technologies Inc. Company Background
Founded in 2002, ANP Technologies, Inc. is an emerging company in Nano therapeutics, Immunogen-
icity and Biodefense with a major focus on design, development, and marketing of innovative tech-
nologies. ANP Technologies, Inc. is a Nano biotechnology company with cutting-edge technology
platforms focused on biodefense and homeland security , home/point-of-care diagnostic systems
and nano-encapsulation and targeted drug delivery. ANP Tech’s detection kits and bio therapeutic
solutions provide quicker and more efficient detection processes and drug delivery.
ANP has established itself as a novel technology provider and partner to both US Government and
various commercial companies. The company currently produces kits used by the U.S. Defense De-
partment, Homeland Security and first responders for rapid detection of bio warfare agents, as well
as kits for detecting contaminants in water, food and beverages. Building on its successful collabora-
tions with biopharmaceutical companies, ANP strives to offer innovative technology solutions to var-
ious partners and customers in all areas of application.
Products
NIDS® ACE Rapid Pesticide Test Kits for Drinking Water and Food
Based on the technology originally developed for the US Army for drinking water testing by expedi-
tionary forces, ANP currently offers for consumer use the simplest rapid test for the detection of
pesticides and certain toxic heavy metals in water, food and beverages. Shortly after the NIDS® ACE
rapid pesticide test went on sale in various grocery stores and on Amazon, it quickly became a pre-
ferred tool for consumers to test their fresh fruit, vegetables, tea leaves, dry fruit, traditional Chinese
medicines, coffee beans, beverages and wines.
Rapid Detection of Biowarfare Agents
ANP has developed rapid lateral-flow immunoassays for the detection of biowarfare/ biothreat
agents. By employing nano-manipulation techniques, this NIDS® assay is the only handheld assay
that does not suffer from the deadly false negative high-dose hook effect that has plagued all the
other handheld assays on the market. Additional multiplexed detection capability along with the use
of a handheld reader that completely eliminates human to human reading and environmental light-
ing variations has made the NIDS® rapid assays the top choice for military, state and local first re-
sponders.
Unique Selling Proposition
The only 5 min, one-step nerve agent and pesticide test kit on the market

Adesis Inc.
Company Background
Adesis, Inc. is a contract research organization (CRO) with more than 20 years of experience
supporting the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry. It is specialized in organic
chemistry services for the life science and (bio) material science industry offering advice,
expertise and equipment for any specific need. Adesis´ business model provides flexibility in
order to create value for customers through complex multi-step synthetic sequences. Bio-
pharmaceutical companies have embraced outsourcing in order to allow in-house chemists
to focus on the design and assembly of new lead molecules for pharmacological evaluation
instead of conducting routine syntheses.
Services
Single Compound (One-offs) projects are bid at a guaranteed fixed price for labor; raw mate-
rials may either be included in the fixed price or back-charged at cost. The decision to back-
charge raw materials depends on the anticipated reliability of the synthesis procedure pro-
vided, as well as scalability. One-off projects are typically more traditional Kilo Lab projects
involving large quantities of material.
Full time equivalents (FTE's) are committed full time to the sponsor. FTE-based projects are quoted
on time and materials, with back-charge of raw materials. These are research oriented projects
and/or difficult projects, where the substantial technical risks preclude quoting a fixed price. FTE
projects generally involve smaller amounts of material (500 mg to 50 grams).
Unique Selling Proposition
Specialized equipment
On-Site Analytical capabilities
Consistent and reliable laboratory capacity
Flexibility and responsiveness
Project Execution Facilitation
Cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency

fections like C. diff and MRSA in hospital rooms and nursing homes. Halosil delivers safe yet
powerful solutions without creating noxious odors, taste or byproducts harmful to people,
animals or the environment.
Products
Halosil sells an EPA approved aerosolized hydrogen peroxide based surface disinfection sys-
tem to facilities and people who want to eliminate pathogens that cause infectious diseases.

kills 99.9999% of pathogens on all exposed surfaces. The environmentally friendly formula is
non-corrosive, safe, odorless, and affordable and can be used around sensitive electronic
equipment.
The system consists out of the Halofogger that aerosolize our proprietary disinfectant and
accessories for room prep, monitoring and for confined spaces.
These systems are used in the acute healthcare industry, long term care facilities, daycare
centers, schools, gyms, animal research facilities, compounding pharmacies etc. and also for
mold remediation.
The system comprises
We offer a very attractive value proposition. An affordable price for the equipment and con-
sumable and high efficacy (6-log spore claim), backed up by independent lab testing and
field results.
Unique Selling Proposition
Most cost effective method to treat all exposed surfaces with less need for labor
Higher disinfection by fogging than spray and wipe
Lower risk of cross-contamination like with rag, wipe or sponge
safe to use around sensitive electronic equipment

Ideal cooperation partner
The partner company must have well established relationships and a keen understanding of selling
products for high level disinfection into a regulated market.
Because of the diverse field of applications, more than one partner may be necessary to cover all
markets.
Exclusivity could be granted if the partner can cover a big portion of the market and is funded to
promote and grow the products effectively.
