Delta AMS 48 / 2000

RECTIFIER FR 48 V – 2000 W – E

-TECHNICAL SPECIFICA TIONS:

- FRONT ELEMENTS RECTIFIER STATUS INDICA TIONS: LED OK turns off and an alarm is given if:

- Input connection is missing - OVP / OTP shut down procedure is activated or fan failure - Load sharing is not working correctly - The output fuse is blown - The rectifier is fault - SW downloads with Psc3

LED OK blink s 200 ms on / 200 ms off and an alarm is given if: - The rectifier is faulty dye to regulation failure

LED OK flashes 20 ms on / 1000 ms 0ff and alarm is given if: - Input voltage out of range, but auxiliary supply is still working - Rectifier not enabled - Rectifier off, controlled by psc3

LED COM is li t if device communicates with psc3 contr oller via IMBUS

LED COM turns off if: - No psc3 communicating with rectifier - Error in IMBUS cabling or wrong bus termination

LED COM blinks: - At start up of the rectifier during configuration process of the interface - If device reset due to default rectifier setting occurs

Push button << config >> - To reset the rectifier configuration to default factory setting. Press button until

LED << com >> starts blinking (10 sec approx)

If middle point is config (menu 15) display wil l change in 2 seconds between ubat and udiff Udiff difference between first and second half of battery string

Battery cap: Shows the remain capacity % format during battery test

I RECT: Calculate current coming from all rectifiers IRECT = ISYS + IBATT and page is not displayed if Battery shunt or battery string is not configured

CHARGE MODE: Display mode of charge and discharge

ALARM: Show list of currently active UA, NUA, MF alarms

2- Protocol Menu 1- When an alarm appears or an even occurs in the system, a log entry is made in protocol With (time, source, type) of alarm

2- If alarm disappears, 2nd entry with time is alarm source and word ok Date format 080105 --- 5 January 2008

3- Last 30 entries stored in volatile ram 4- Most 5 most recent of last 30 are stored in non volatile eeprom

3- General Menu Alarm stop 1- when activated, some alarms are not forward via relay o/p to remote alarm panel

2- However alarms remain indicated on red led on psc1000 3- State of (active / not active) indicate with red alarm (AS) 4- If configured so forward via relay o/p AS

Protocol clear Clear all entr ies in alarm protocol except star t entr y

Languages select language of menus

Default par recall activate default parameter which are predefined by software

Current par save any change in parameter must be saved otherwise will be lost at power down

Alarm test if configured to automatic all alarm led activated for 2 second one after other finally all active again for 2 sec and if configured to manual check alarms by Activated and deactivated one by one using ↑↓

Date & time to adjust date and time

4-Alarm menu Us max: upper NUA level of system voltage usys level is TC float charge when level is passed, NUA is activated after 2 sec

Us min: lower NUA level of usys

Ua max: upper UA level

Ua min: lower UA level

Dc low (AS& MF) relay o/p (base voltage)

Dc ok upper level for under voltage indicator on mf or as voltage is rising above level dc ok , the protocol entry dc low ok after dc low with time and date is generated

Isys max max system cur rent if isys r ises above isys max UA or NUA is suppressed according to configuration

Isys min min system cur rent

MF delay for ex if you configured mf additional MF+UA ---> when mains failure display will Show MF, UA, IF you configured MF add to MF delay display will show MFand then Will dealy a delay time in setting to appear UA due to low voltage

Psys max max system power if system power r ises above psys max NUA OR UA is generated

If Isys ↑80% I fuse max -- NUA If Isys ↑I fuse max -- UA

If Temp ↑Temp high for at least 20 sec --- NUA if temp drops below Temp ok again configured alarm is reset

I fuse max

Temp high

Temp ok

5-Usys menu 1- usys 20C : float voltage at battery temp 20 C

2-Uset RM: set value of rectifiers

3- I batt max: total charging battery cur rent

6-Temp comp menu Appear only if external control or configured enabled

Tcoef Usys: temp compensation coeff icient in – mv/ c System voltage = usys@20 C + (Tbatt – 20 C)

7-Boost charge menu - charge current more quickly - start as soon as I above I start - stop as soon as I below I stop - Boost charge is forced to stop at latest 16 hr

Start Criteria: 1- Ibatt > Istart 2- Battery is not marked faulty 3- Last boost charge was more than 24 hr ago 4- I stop > 0 5- Neither equalize nor separate charging is active

Stop criteria: 1- I batt < I stop 2- System voltage > usys@20C for more than 16 hr to prevent bad battery from being

charged for ever 3- I stop = 0 4- Separate charge is active

Note: during boost charge, NUA is suppressed due to low / high usys and stop as soon as usys = usys @20

8-Battery Test menu

1- Battery fully charged 2- Rectifier stops delivering current and full load current from battery 3- Rectifiers are kept on support voltage so in case of battery failure Usystem doesn't dip below

This voltage

"Principle"

Note: -Test end as soon as battery has performed for the duration test or discharge capacity - Test Failed if usys ↓ U support or I diff > certain value with test

Start Criteria: 1- Test interval expired 2- No alarm 3-Battery full charged 4- Last mains failure at least 7 days ago 5- Neither equalize, separate nor boost charging is active

Stop criteria: 1- Duration expired 2- Faulty battery due to Usys low 3- I Diff > certain value 4- Battery fuse is blown 5- AH has been disharged

9-Equalize menu Start Criteria:

1-Equalize interval and 2- Last boost charge more than 24 hr and 3-No battery test active 4- Last mains failure at least 7 days ago

Stop criteria: 1- Duration expired 2-Test active 3- Battery current negative

10-Auxili ary menu - Utrip1- low: if usys drop down Utrip low trip 1 i s activated and trip lvd to disconnect

Relay 1

- Utr ip1- OK: after low voltage disconnect when voltage ar ise Utr ip ok low voltage

Disconnect relay o/p tr ip 1 is deactivate

Function of card

R11: -This card used to measure the value of usys and isys, measure the voltage between load bus bar and

Divided it by constant resistance to measure the current

- send calculated value to contr oller via cobomo card - Sense with load circuit breaker if on or off

Note: if this card is faulty, controller will appear (** *) and Isys can't be measured

R12: -This card used to measure the value of ubatt and ibatt, measure the voltage between battery bus bar and Divided it by constant resistance to measure the current

- send calculated value to contr oller via cobomo card - Sense with battery circuit breaker if on or off

Note: if this card is faulty, controller will appear (- - -) and Ibatt can't be measured

A16: -Is LVD driver card, its function is to invert the control signal from the controller to LVD trip - socket X1 connected to socket trip1 in cobomo
