3. ALL ITEMS NOT SPECIFICALLY CALLED OUT TO BE RETAINED FOR OWNER AND ARE TO BECOME PROPERTY OF THE

4. ALL ACTIVE FIRE STROBES, FIRE EXTINGUISHERS, MOUNTINGS AND CABINETS ARE TO BE RETAINED AND STOCKPILED AT
LOCATION SELECTED BY OWNER.
5. THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS ARE COMPLEMENTARY AND THEIR INTENT IS TO INCLUDE ALL ITEMS NECESSARY FOR THE
PROPER EXECUTION AND COMPLETION OF THE WORK. PROVIDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS, SERVICES AND EQUIPMENT
REQUIRED OR REASONABLY IMPLIED BY THESE DOCUMENTS FOR COMPLETION OF THE WORK AMONG THE
SUBCONTRACTORS OR IN ESTABLISHING THE EXTENT OF THE WORK PERFORMED BY ANY TRADE.
6. IN CASE OF CONFLICTS OR DISCREPANCIES BETWEEN ANY DOCUMENTS PERTAINING TO THE WORK, THE ARCHITECT WILL
DETERMINE WHICH DOCUMENT OR PART TAKES PRECEDENCE. IN GENERAL, BUT NOT WITHOUT EXCEPTION, AT THE SOLE
DISCRETION OF THE ARCHITECT.THE MORE STRINGENT OR HIGHER COST REQUIREMENT IS REQUIRED. SUBMIT A REQUEST
FOR INFORMATION (RFI) TO THE ARCHITECT FOR AN INTERPRETATION OF THE REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO PROCEEDING WITH
ANY WORK ASSOCIATED WITH CONFLICTS OR DISCREPANCIES BETWEEN ANY DOCUMENTS PERTAINING TO THE WORK.
7. DO NOT SCALE DRAWINGS, THE CONTRACTOR IS TO FIELD VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS.
8. CLARIFICATIONS OR INFORMATION REQUIRED SHALL BE FURNISHED BY THE ARCHITECT IN WRITING. CONTRACTOR SHALL
SUBMIT REQUESTS FOR SUCH CLARIFICATIONS OR INFORMATION IN WRITING TO THE ARCHITECT. VERBAL INQUIRIES AND
RESPONSES ARE NOT BINDING. CONTRACTOR SHALL DISTRIBUTE ARCHITECT'S INFORMATION TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES.
9. ALL WORK SHALL CONFORM TO APPLICABLE LOCAL BUILDING CODES AND ORDINANCES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS OF THE
ENTITIES HAVING JURISDICTION. THE APPLICABLE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF OSHA SHALL BE ADOPTED FOR THIS
PROJECT.
10. OBTAIN PERMITS AND PAY ALL FEES FOR REQUIRED REGULATORY APPROVALS, CONTROLLED INSPECTIONS AND OTHER
AGENCY APPROVALS. COPIES OF ALL TRANSACTIONS SHALL BE PROVIDED TO THE ARCHITECT. COMPLETE DOCUMENTATION
OF FINAL REGULATORY AGENCY APPROVALS FOR THE PROJECT AND CONTROLLED INSPECTION REPORTS SHALL BE
SUBMITTED TO THE ARCHITECT PRIOR TO APPLICATION FOR FINAL PAYMENT.
11. MAKE ALL ARRANGEMENTS, MAINTAIN AND PAY ALL COSTS FOR TEMPORARY TELECOMMUNICATIONS, WATER, PLUMBING,
POWER, LIGHTING, HEATING, VENTILATION AND CLEAN-UP OPERATIONS AS NECESSARY TO PROPERLY CONDUCT THE WORK.
ALL HOSTING CHARGES OR SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, IF ANY, SHALL BE INCLUDED IN THE WORK.
BUILDING
12. REMOVALS OR ABANDONMENT OF DUCTS, PIPES, CONDUITS, AND THE LIKE, SHALL OCCUR BELOW OR BEHIND FINISHED
SURFACES AND BE APPROPRIATELY CAPPED AND COVERED TO MATCH ADJACENT CONSTRUCTION AND FINISHES. REFER TO
MEP FOR MORE INFORMATION.
13. REMOVE ALL CEILING AND FLOOR FINISHES. PATCH ALL HOLES AND DEFECTS IN FLOORING SUBSTRATES TO MEET
MANUFACTURERS REQUIREMENTS FOR NEW FLOORING MATERIALS. PROVIDE APPROPRIATE LEVELING MATERIAL /
COMPOUND OR GROUT TO RENDER SUBSTRATE SUITABLE FOR FUTURE FLOORING COVER.
14. AT DEMOLITION SITES ABUTTING NEW CONSTRUCTION, AND AREAS OF IN-FILL OR PATCH WORK, MATCH ADJACENT
CONSTRUCTION UNLESS CALLED FOR OR SHOWN OTHERWISE IN THE DRAWINGS.
15. REMOVE, REPAIR AND PAINT WALLS AND/OR CEILING IN FINISHED AREAS AS NECESSARY FOR MEP DEMOLITION.
16. REMOVE ALL EXISTING MEP ITEMS AS SHOWN ON MEP DEMOLITION PLANS.
17. EXTERIOR BRICK AND STUD WALLS SUPPORTING CONSTRUCTION TO REMAIN.
18. CONTRACTOR SHALL IMPLEMENT CONSTRUCTION DUST / DEBRIS CONTROL MEASURES THROUGHOUT THE DURATION OF
CONSTRUCTION.
