;Introduction
This year experienced good rains in almost all the regions with an improvement in the foragejbees. The result was a lot of swarms reported in many areas in all the regions and an increase in!the kilograms of honey harvested.
: Even though many swarms were capture and hived, there is still a lot of colonies absconding. Old(problems still persist . (record keeping is not done and if done its not consistant.
Field officers still face transport problems. This is a constraint which result in untimelyoperations, not only by field officers but even the farmers.
iI Shortage of equipment in some places resulted in delay to implement projects*funds ought to be| secured in time to avoid cancellation of some projects.
Manpower is needed as some areas were left vacant when officers had to be transferred to very demandf^e*.places. " ^
!
• Of all the problems encountered transport is the number one problem which also affects thei headquarters staff. This is very parthetic.

Remarks
There is a new apiary in Ngamiland-west which needs re-stocking whenhives are secured
Previously there was no monitoringof project in this region - it isnewly staffed.
Management of colonies should beintensified to increase production.
This amount was used for feedingcolonies
If management can be intensified.production can be increased
Much needs to be done in terms ofincreased colonies. Improvingforage and management

This turget number of participants is very high. It is normally not easy to meet this highlytargeted number as evidanced by number of course participants.
During the previous year the targeted number was realistic and it was achieved.
