Depositing a check into an atm machine?

Since you cannot cash a check at an ATM machine you can deposit it into your account via ATM andpossibly get cash back right away by withdrawing money that was already there before you put thecheck in the machine.

The best thing is to either have someone go to the bank and deposit it for you -- or you can use theNIGHT DEPOSIT drawer, You need to put the check and a deposit slip or a piece of paper withinstructions including account number into an envelope and then place it in the drawer. Unless yourbranch is weird, your check will be deposited into your account when the bank opens up just like youdeposited it or someone deposited it for you.

Maybe you need to change your bank if you have to wait in line for more than a couple minutes.
